The main object is the furthering the teaching of the Buddha in the UK. The Charity's main activity is the development, maintenance and upkeep of two Theravada Buddhist monasteries in the UK. These provide focal points for members of the public to learn or deepen their understanding of Buddhism. Typical activities include meditation classes and retreats, public talks and formal ceremonies.

Our objective is "the benefit of the public through the Advancement of the Christian religion ...in accordance with the Statement of Faith of...AoG..." which we do through our membership network of around 550 local churches. -Preservation of religious sites, temples and monuments of Jerusalem.-Excavation, repairs, preservation and upkeep of such historic sites and antiquities of Jerusalem of permanent educational value to mankind.-Educational or religious projects in Jerusalem which are exclusively charitable.- all charitable activity is done through grant making and not direct contact with vulnerable groups

The objects are(a) to advance the Christian religion in accordance with the faith and practice of the Church of England, inparticular by furthering the mission of the Church of England;(b) to care for and conserve the fabric and structure of the Cathedral Church building;(c) to advance any other charitable purposes which are ancillary to the furtherance of the above purposes

1. Pastoral community work and chaplaincy work - Voluntary servicewithin the Church and local community, chaplaincy ministry in prisons,hospitals and hospices.2. Ministry within Social Services teams - Work with Social Services andagencies within the voluntary sector.3. Residential care services for our elderly Sisters at St Euphrasia?s CareHome, Blackley, Manchester.

Sisters of St Joseph of the Apparition CIO is part of a worldwide Religious Order originally started in France, this charity is based in England and its aim is to further the knowledge of God's love for humanity; to care for their elderly retired members/sisters; to run a nursing home; social and pastoral work; to support international missionary work; and support English charities.

Emmaus Road Community Church operates primarily in Guildford, Surrey, England.An extensive range of youth and children?s work, educational work in local schools, a Family Outreach programme providingpractical support for needy families, pastoral care, marriage preparation and support, debt counselling, evangelism, prayers forsociety and regular public acts of worship.

St Albans Cathedral is the cathedral church of the Diocese of St Albans and the parish church for the ecclesiastical parish of St Albans Abbey. Its objects are to advance the Christian religion in accordance with the faith and practice of the Church of England, in particular by furthering the mission of the Church of England, and to care for and conserve the fabric and structure of the cathedral.

TO RAISE MONEY TO HELP SUPPORT THE FABRIC AND MINISTRY OF YORK MINSTER.

The aim of the charity is to advance the Christian faith in accordance with the doctrines and principles of the Church of England and to carry out the social mission of the Church through the support of charitable work for the relief of poverty, through the maintenance of religious community of women organised in accordance with the rule of St. Benedict and dedicated to the St. Mary at the Cross.
