The objects of the Temple is to a provide place of worship for Sikhs, to support the community in connecting with its religion and to integrate into the community within which they live. To make use of the Temple to uphold the faith of the followers of the ten gurus and the holy guru granth sahib and provide activities that encourage and support this.

The Charity continues to practice and promote advancement of Sikh faith. The continued support &contribution from devotees, worshipers and general public has enabled the Charity to provide essential services of providing free meals to all visitors to the Temple.

THE SERVICES INCLUDE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS, MARRIAGE CELEBRATIONS INCLUDING LEGAL REGISTRATIONS AND FUNERALS. TEACHING OF PUNJABI AND MUSIC INCLUDING GURBANI KIRTAN. DAY SHELTER FOR ALL.

To advance the sikh religion amongst the Sikh Ramgarhia community in Woolwich area and wider community as a whole. Furthermore to:-Provide a meeting place for the members of the community, sikh education facilities, to perform Marriage services, create a religious atmosphere and infuse spirit of service, fraternity, brotherhood amongst members, establish Library, sports and youth activities.

THE CENTRE OBJECTIVES ARE ACHIEVED THROUGH THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES: EDUCATION, TRAINING, ARTS, SIKH CULTURE & RELIGION, SPORTS, RECREATION, ECONOMIC WELL BEING, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, WORKING WITH OTHER FAITH ORGANISATIONS, HELPING HAND FOR THE ELDERLY PEOPLE AND HEALTH EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS.

THE AIM OF THE SOCIETY BE THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE SIKH FAITH, TRADITION & CULTURE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM & ABROAD BY MEETING THE FOLLOWING OBJECTIVES 1, TO PROVIDE, PROCURE DISTRIBUTE BOOKS & OTHER MATERIAL, INCLUDING MULTIMEDIA, IN ENGLISH, PUNJABI & OTHER LANGUAGES TO ENLIGHTEN THE PEOPLE ABOUT THE SIKH FAITH 2, TO ARRANGE LECTURES SEMINARS, CONFERENCES & GURMAT CAMPS & CELEBRATIONS.
