Religion Charities

This charity endeavours with its very limited resources to support the ongoing work of Evangelical churches and organisations both within the UK (e.g. St John's Church Woking, The Christian Institute and SASRA) and abroad (e.g. Kenya and Myanmar).

The advancement of the Christian religion in accordance with doctrine and articles of faith.The relief of poverty, hardship and distress and the relief of sickness.Teaching of the Christian religion to the local communityProviding advice and counselling to families, individuals and couplesProvide emotional support to the community where necessaryOrganising Social events

The object of the charity is to make grants for the benefit of protestant dissenters in the parish of Cranbrook and elsewhere in the County of Kent.

Our Centre is used by Rainbows, Brownies, Guides,Rangers, Otters, Cubs, Scouts, a Dance Group, 3 church groups and anyone from the local community who wishes to hire the Centre for activities.

The Friends of St Mary's Church, supported by the congregation and village, is setup to raise funds for the maintenance of the fabric of the Church

EDUCATIONAL SCHOOL FUND

Preaching, teaching of the gospel. Evangelism and all other Christian activities.

Provision of funding for projects which are for the long-term benefit of St Peter's Church Little Aston.

Providing grants towards the cost of maintaining and repairing the building, fixtures and fittings of St. Mary's Church, Bourne Street, London SW1

Support for Guide, Brownie units in Heaton Chapel by looking after the HQ

Maintenance and care of three almshouses in Gainsborough.

PROVIDING SPIRITUAL AND MORAL SUPPORT TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY THROUGH WORSHIP SERVICES, CHILDRENS CLUBS AND OUTREACH TO THE COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE

The purposes of the charity are to provide for the maintenance of priests, support of the poor, provide Roman Catholic education of children and support of the Roman Catholic Religion within the geographical boundaries of the Diocese of Lancaster .

The purpose of the Trust is the advancement of learning and knowledge by the study of the nature of peace and the methods by which peace can be developed. It does this by the financing of research, teaching and enabling the study of peace studies at the Department of Peace Studies at the University of Bradford

This Parents Association organise events that are fun, improve community relations and provide sociable entertainment for the children and parents alike. At the same time we raise funds for the enhancement of education of all the children at the school, now and in the future.

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

To maintain in working condition an old windmill at woodchurch for the benefit of the community and visitors. It is also a valuable educational facility inso far as many groups of youngsters visit the windmill to learn about traditional rural industries and the importance of environmental issues.

Hiring of Village Hall for various community activities such as Dancing Class, Dog Club, Wine & Beer Circle, Parties, Church Activities. The Hall is usually hired by the local villagers and the people in the surrounding areas.

Provides a place to socialise , exchange information and integrate within the Deaf Community and learn British Sign Language . Groups - Chess , Snooker , Church , OAP , Social Club and Golf Society and Indoors Game are available for members to join .

Summer Fair, Christmas Fair, Science & Engineering Fair, Fireworks Night, School Discos, Raffles, Cake Sales, Quiz Nights and other fundraising activities or social events for the School.

The upkeep of Bethel Congregational Chapel and the maintenance of the services therein.

Public Services and a Sunday School on Sundays; Bible Studies and Prayer Meetings during week;;provide various social,scientific and christian short courses;organise various community activity events for charity.

THE PURPOSE OF SCOUTING IS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIAL, AS INDIVIDUALS, AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES.

Provides funds for the maintenance of the fabric of Mitcham Lane Baptsit Church.
