Religion Charities

The charity makes grants to churches in the Diocese of Guildford for the maintenance and improvement of their bell installations.

Church services held every Saturday and Sunday and spiritual healing on Tuesdays with selected development groups on Wednesday and Thursdays.

Heart of England Singers is a mixed choir, ages range from 16 to late 80s. We give several concerts a year plus performing for charities and church groups on request.

WE ARE A CHRISTIAN LAY CHURCH PROVIDING FELLOWSHIP AND FACILITIES FOR FUNERALS, WEDDINGS, CHRISTENINGS AND ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH A LOCAL CHURCH.

Provision of a Village Hall for the residents of Uckington and Elmstone Hardwicke for the purpose of social meetings and fund raising events. It is also available for hire for dancing and Yoga classes, Women's Institute, Church meetings, as well as private hire.

The preservation, repair, maintenance, restoration, improvement and ornamentation of the fabric of the Parish Church of St Paul, Bedford and other property used and occupied by the said Church.

Raise money for the pupils of Dunmow St Mary's Primary School

To advance the religious education of Jews resident in Israel; to provide educational grants to institutions; to provide relief for the poor sephardim in Jerusalem.

Aberthin Village Hall is of local historic interest, being the second oldest Weslian Chapel in Glamorgan. Apart from preserving the fabric of this historic building, it is a centre for Aberthin Village activities with both organised events and private hiring. Amongst others, a children's playgroup meets daily in the Hall, and it is used on 2 Sundays per month for a village religious service.

Provide various recreational facilities for the Meanwood community and premises to hold various functions, tasks etc (capacity 40 to 60 people). Provide biannual events for our senior citizens, comprising afternoon tea and entertainment and transport. Provide monies to deserving individuals ie missionary and to other charities as sanctioned by the committee.

The trust supports the Roman Catholic Bishopric of the Armed Forces. The Bishop is the spiritual leader of the Catholic Community in the armed forces, and is responsible for the pastoral care of Catholics and their families in the armed forces, and to other non-catholic serving personnel.

Fundraising for Shaw C of E Primary School

Primary activities include fundraising for the school through social events such as quiz nights, fashion shows and auction evenings. There are a number of regular fundraising activities such as running a cake stall as well as holding a yearly christmas and summer fayre.

The advancement of the Christian religion including the promotion of the Christian healing ministry.

The charity makes grants for (i) the upkeep of the Portman Family chapel at Bryanston (ii) support for the Friends of Blandford Hospital and (iii) support for the ecclesiastical and charitbale purposes of (a) Durwerston and Bryanston PCC (b) Blandford Forum PCC and (c) Blandford St Mary PCC

The object of the Association is to advance the education of the pupils of the school.

We are a Parent Teacher Association who organise events to raise valuable additional funds to purchase items / fund projects which will enhance the quality of Dursley Primary Academy's pupils' school life experience.

To provide for the repair and maintenance of the church of All Saints, Earls Barton and of the clock within the church tower and to contribute to the general running of the church and its fabric.

A Deaf Centre for Deaf/Hard of Hearing adults and children and their families. We support all deaf/hard of hearing. The Centre offers regular social evenings and events, BSL classes, Advice and Drop in Sessions, Youth Group, Children's Club, Deaf Church Group. We are the only Centre for the deaf/hard of hearing in Cornwall.

Provides financial assistance for the maintenance and upkeep of the church building and grounds of Beckley Parish Church.
