Religion Charities

The main object is the repair of the parish church of the ecclesiastical parish of St Michaels Braintree. Excess funds can be used for Church of England purposes within the parish, or carried forward for future needs.

Supporting the maintenance and fabric of the church buildings and surrounding churchyard

The Charity was originally set up to administer St Paul's Church Hall. The Hall was sold in 1971 and the proceeds invested. The Trustees now administer the quarterly income from the proceeds, donating it to activities connected with St Michael with St Paul's Church, Bath.

1) The maintenance and repair of the parish church of Wootton and its appurtenances. 2) The general benefit of the poor within the ancient parish of Wootton.

To support the repair of the Union Chapel building in Upper Street, Islington; the safeguarding of the Congregation of Union Chapel Archives; and the implementation of the Organ Restoration and Music Outreach Project, and their use for the benefit of the wider community. To assist the Union Chapel Project, Margins Project, and Church in fund raising and organising events.

Church Services weekly. Special events for community. Coffee mornings for community. Craft groups weekly. Attend and support conferences. Ministering to peoples personal needs.

The fund receives subscriptions from private individuals and occasionally church collections. The trustees distribute grants to those who came to their notice who they believe fulfill the criteria given in the original trust deed (needy christians).

Payment of grants to residents of Thaxted who are either families with three or more children under the age of 16 on the qualifying date, couples who were married in Thaxted Parish Church within the previous twelve months of the qualifying date, apprentices or students undertaking further education. Grants may also be made to Thaxted Parish Church for restoration of the church.

The Trustees shall have power to hold IN TRUST Properties and Monies for the benefit of the Parish Church of St Mary Magdalene, Fleet. Income shall be invested as CAPITAL and the INTEREST ONLY shall be used as the need arises to assist the day to day running costs of the church, or repair and restoration work that needs to be carried out upon and within the church & churchyard.

Sunday services, weekly prayer & bible study, members meeting.

Kelshall Village Hall together with the Church provide the only meeting facilities in the Village. The Hall is regulary let out to Toddler Group, Keep Fit, Musicians, Family Celebrations, Parish Meeting and Fund Raising Events.

Gives small grants and loansfor educational purposes and/or training to individuals in financial need, resident in or studying in the area of Poplar and also to educational or training organisations working within Poplar. In addition to make grants or loans to individuals or organisations for religious education according to the principles of the Church of England within Poplar.

Supporting Acton Church of England Primary School and young people in the area

Assisting in the religious education of young people.Also helping people in the parish with particular difficulties, where requested.

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES SUNDAYS AND WEEKDAYS.

Provides accommodation for Christian Missionaries working outside the UK.

makes grant towards upkeep of St Michael's Church Lichfield

Furthering the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the Parish of Central Exeter.

Religious activities, worship, weddings, funerals, christenings, engagement groups, Reiki group. Provision of hall for W.I & keep fitness outreach to wider communities. Support for Swansea Bay assylum seekers. Support for Kasihius congregations in India. MacMillan cancer research. Coffee mornings.

Financial support for the costs of the maintenance of Staverton C of E School. In making grants to qualifying individualls for the for purpose of Education.

FOR SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES CONNECTED WITH THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION IN ACCORDANCE WITH EVANGELICAL PRINCIPLES AS THE TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT WITH A PREFERENCE, OTHER THINGS BEING EQUAL, FOR SUCH PURPOSES IN, OR IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD OF, CLEEVE HILL.

Donates monies to local people/organisations whom it considers are in need of help. In view of the small income which the charity receives the amounts donated are very small

Support the running and maintenance costs of the Felliscliffe Chapel of Ease and its associated almshouses.
