The Friends of St Bede's provides a channel for members to contribute to the work and development of St Bede's Pastoral Centre in York

Provide a facility for use by the local community and the church, this can be for meetings, education, social and fund raising events. The village hall is also used by the Parish Council and as a polling station.

To provide benefits to schools, including C of E Sunday Schools, and to promote the education of persons under the age of 25 years who or whose parents live (effectively) in Tenterden, St. Michaels or Smallhythe, or such persons who have been to school there, and are in need of financial assistance.Currently activities are restricted to providing bibles to junior school leavers.

Has the responsibility of cooperating with the Vicar in promoting in the parish the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. Has maintenance responsibilities for the Church. When planning activities for the year, the incumbent and the PCC have considered the guidance on public benefit, in particular specific guidance on charities for the advancement of religion.

Provide facilities for local and church use and to house archives and records.

To utilise the income from tenants who lease various land and allotments owned mostly by the Trustees as grants to needy parishioners, the Parish Church, and local organisations existing for the benefit of residents

Preservation of St James Heyshott Church

The income of the charity is applied to furthering the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the ecclesiastical parish of St Peters Belgrave in the Diocese of Leicester.

Our area of operation is shown as Trafford because we share the same address as Martin Luther Kirche Charity number 1092327 and we are the resource body for this charity. Our classification is mainly indirect. The majority of our grants are channelled directly to 1092327, thus enabling them to provide funds in line with their own classification.
