Religion Charities

To further the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the Ecclesiastical Parish of St John the Baptist, New Windsor in accordance with the 1994 scheme for the Charity.

'FURTHERING THE EDUCATION OF THE CHILDREN OF THE POOR IN THE PARISH OF MILTON... IN THE PRINCIPLES OF TRUE RELIGION AND USEFUL KNOWLEDGE.' IN PRACTICE THIS IS INTERPRETED AS PROVIDING FUNDS TO ASSIST THE CHURCH'S WORK WITH CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE, AND ASSISTING WITH ANY CASE OF EDUCATION-RELATED GENUINE HARDSHIP WITHIN THE PARISH OF MILTON THAT IS BROUGHT TO THE NOTICE OF THE TRUSTEES.

Christian evangelism. Including health relief - care of children and homeless - training and education. All activities carried out in India.

Education/Training & Religious Activities

The association's main aim is to promote meetings for sharing knowledge and experience of organ playing and church music in general, together with occasional visits to hear and/or play historic or notable instruments. We aim to encourage and provide advice for potential young players. We now also have a bursary fund to provide financial assistance with tuition.

The primary objective of the Trust has been to raise funds in order to carry out a re-ordering of the interior of St.Mary's Church, Shenley Church End, Milton Keynes. This was completed during 2008. The Trust funds are now to be used to meet the cost of future major repairs to the Church building.

For religious Education in School

Promotion of religious education in accordance with the principles & doctrine of the Church of England by means of Sunday Schools or in such other ways as most trustees think fit.

Donations have been made to registered charities out of the income of the Trust in accordance with the wishes of the settlor. Donations are made principally for the benefit of Jewish religious charities and other Jewish charites whose objects are the advancement of education or the relief of poverty

Use with maintenance of Church Fabric

Helps with Education, matters relating to the Village Church and the Elderly

Maintenance of memorial windows and brasses and monuments in the Priory Church of Deeping St James, Lincolnshire.

Dame Elizabeth Gresham Trust. This bequest was made to Henfield in the 17th century and is managed by 8 trustees. The charity's principal income is from the grazing rent of two fields in Henfield and this income is distributed to organisations helping those in need at an annual church service which takes place on All Saints Day, 1st November.

TO EXPRESS THE CHURCH'S CONCERN FOR THE RELIEF OF DISTRESS / POVERTY AND BRING SOME COMFORT THROUGH A CASH DONATION TO INDIVIDUALS / COUPLES / FAMILIES AT CHRISTMAS.

Organises educational and social activities in connection with the art of organ-playing, and also church music in general.

The provision of 'The Lee Scholarship' at Trinity College Cambridge. This is tenable for three years following a public examination for the son or daughter of a member of the clergy of the Church of England (who shall have officiated in the diocese of Manchester for a period of not less than five years in total) and who declares themselves to be a member of the Church of England.

Disperses investment income to long Sutton Church fabric and churchyard fencing

In the early 1900's local businessman and property owner George Day left a bequest in his will to provide "treats for the children of Buham"Nearly one hundred years later the fund he created still exists, and provides between -ú300 & -ú400 per year to provide annual treats for the children attending Burham C of E Primary School.
