The Charity promotes and provides such charitable works as to advance the Roman Catholic religion among, or in connection with, members of her Majesty's Forces and their families. This includes the maintenance and support of the person holding the office of Bishop of the Forces

Activities include:a. the advancement and preservation of the Islamic faith;b. the advancement of education;c. provision of facilities for recreation in the interests of social welfare for the inhabitants of the area of Smethwick;andd. to foster goodwill and harmonious relations.

The charity provides financial support to organisations providing a sound religious education in accordance with the doctrines and principles of traditional Judaism and to institutions set up to provide aid to the Jewish needy.

The objects of the charity are summarised as being for the support of Quaker charities and organisations and Society of Friends activities as the Trustees in their discretion think fit and with no defined beneficial area.

Southend Vineyard is a Christian Church made up of people from many walks of life, committed to living out the teachings of Jesus Christ in the context of contemporary society. We hold regular Sunday and weekday meetings and activities, occasional training events and are involved in a range of activities for the benefit of people who belong to the Church and the wider local community.

We award grants to UK-based organisations which further our charitable objectives. We support grassroots initiatives that promote social action, environmental action & sustainability, peace & reconciliation and Quaker work & witness. SRCDC EXISTS TO IMPROVE THE ECONOMIC WELL BEING OF SIKHS AND OTHER LOCAL MINORITY COMMUNITIES IN THE AREA. THE CENTRE OBJECTIVES ARE ACHIEVED THROUGH THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES: EDUCATION, TRAINING, ARTS, SIKH CULTURE & RELIGION, SPORTS, RECREATION, ECONOMIC WELL BEING, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, WORKING WITH OTHER FAITH ORGANISATIONS, HELPING HAND FOR THE ELDERLY PEOPLE AND HEALTH EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS.

TO PROVIDE ALMSHOUSES FOR THE POOR PERSONS OF GOOD CHARACTER WHO (EXCEPT IN SPECIAL CASES TO BE APPROVED BY THE CHARITY COMMISSION) ARE INHABITANTS OF THE CITY OF BRISTOL. IN SELECTING RESIDENTS FOR MERCHANT VENTURERS' ALMSHOUSES PREFERENCE SHALL BE GIVEN TO MARINERS AND THEIR DEPENDANTS. IN SELECTING RESIDENTS FOR COLSTON'S ALMSHOUSE PREFERENCE SHOULD BE GIVEN TO MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND.

The advancement of the tenants and doctrine of the Syed Sunni Sect of Islam, To maintain the mosque and institution of worship,To collect and distribute zakat.

Durham Cathedral forms part of a world heritage site. The Friends were set up in 1933 solely to help to maintain and enhance the building and its setting; and over the last ten years grants totalling over -ú1,000,000 have been made, membership is open to all who appreciate the cathedral either as a place of worship or as an architectural gem, and donations and legacies are also welcomed.

The Trust administers property and investments on behalf of the unincorporated society known as the Benedictine Community of Elmore Abbey, Speen, Newbury, Berkshire, (now resident at 19A The Close, Salisbury) insofar as that Community devotes itself to the general furtherance of religious education and knowledge, and the relief of poverty and suffering, as set out in the Holy Rule of St Benedict.

World of Worth is passionate about restoring dignity, hope and worth to women and girls. WOW supports women who have been marginalised, widowed & abandoned and provides opportunities for them to transform their world through education, training & micro businesses. Our aim is to help women become self-sustainable. WOW works in Uganda, Ethiopia, Mozambique, India, Philippines & Bulgaria.

To promote advancement of the Jewish religion by facilitating the initiation of male Jewish children into the Covenant of Abraham

We are hosting a range of projects and programmes in its impressively large building including children education projects , Healthy Lifestyles Project for the elderly, support for people suffering from mental health problems, and a core Women's Group. There is very low-cost gym usage for the public.

The objects are the furtherance of the religious and other charitable purposes of the Church of England in particular in accordance with the doctrines commonly known as Anglo-Catholic. The buildings at Ascot Priory are available to Church and other Christian groups as a retreat house and conference centre. The Priory Church also is a focus of worship and prayer throughout the liturgical year.

The object of the charity is to enhance and sustain religious education by making donations to religious institutions and charities.
