Friends of the Sick (Chevrat Bikkur Cholim) is an independent charity whose objective is to provide support workers to members of the Jewish Community who are incapacitated through accident, ill-health, old age or any other reason. The Charity strives to achieve this by providing one-on-one support in the homes of members of the Jewish Community who live in the London area.

The provision of financial support to the Order of Our Lady of Fidelity's religious communities at Upper Norwood, Folkestone and India. The development of a new Apostolate at Folkestone consisting of a chapel for the local community, day care for 2 to 5s and individually guided retreats.

The principal object of the charity is the provision of choristerships tenable at Salisbury Cathedral for the education of musical girls between the ages of 8 and 13 (inclusive), thereby enabling them to be Probationers and Choristers at Salisbury Cathedral.

The Company is established to advance religion in accordance with the Orthodox Jewish Faith and for such other purposes as are recognised by English Law as charitable and in furtherance of the aforementioned objects.

The charity seeks to: Advance the Christian religion and religious education. Advance the education of young people by providing facilities for their recreation and leisure time, so that they may grow to maturity as responsible members of society.
