Religion Charities

The main aims of the Charity are the training of candidates for the priesthood and the support of missions overseas. Training and tuition in English are provided to prepare for missionary activities and spiritual and theological training is also carried out.

The activities of The Croatian Charity Trust is in conjunction with the Charity objectives: Charitable purposes which advance the Roman Catholic Religion and in particular among or in connection with persons of Croat descent.

ADVANCEMENT OF THE EVANGELICAL CHRISTIAN FAITH

The charity helps and supports education of the orthodox Jewish religion, relief of poverty in the Jewish community & help to maintain Jewish orthodox religious synagogues schools & colleges etc.

The charity was established to provide benefits mainly to Jewish Charities and to medical and educational charities which it has always supported. The charity only donate to charities registered with the Charities Commission and DOES NOT MAKE GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS. THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY IS FULLY COMMITTED TO THE CHARITIES IT SUPPORTS.

World Vision for Christ is an interdenominational full gospel organisation. Its aim is to promote Biblical Christianity; which is done thro' church activities, young peoples meetings, street ministry, radio ministry. Other branches:- WVFC Bible Book Store, Paragon Christian Academy day school for students aged 4-18 years.

The advancement of the Roman Catholic Church and particularly the traditional teachings and practices taught and accepted before the Second Vatican Council

The general objects are religious and charitable, and specifically for the general charitable purposes in connection with the Roman Catholic religion and to provide its members to enable them to work among the poor in medical, educational or social capacity.

Radhakrishma Temple Shyama Ashram is committed to bringing communities together. The trust organises social and religious events, prayers, and celebrations which are open to the larger community. The trust also arranges various events to celebrate Hindu festivals. The Temple recieves donations from devotees and well-wishers, and donates some to other charities.

Cross-road Christian Centre Trust is a church of about 120 people located in Seaton, East Devon.

CONDUCT SEMINARS STUDY CLASSES, HELP PUBLICATION OF BOOKS .HELP FINANCIALLY TO RELEIVE POVERTY. PROVIDE ADVICE AND INFORMATION. ARRANGE RETREATS PRAYER GROUPS HELP STUDENTS COMING FROM ABROAD TO FIND JOBS & ACCOMODATION, ARRANGE EXCURSIONS TO THE AGED & RETIRED. PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO UNIVERSITY STUDENTS.GUIDANCE AND COUSELLING.PROVIDE THEOLOGICAL CLASSES TO STUDENTS .

The charity provides accommodation for the elderly in ten bungalows or flats. It also provides grants to organisations and individuals. These may be in respect of the Religious Society of Friends, or any charitable objects connected with the town of Ashford in Kent, or to meet expenses of education or or for the relief of poverty.

IN LINE WITH OUR MISSION STATEMENT, WHICH IS `LOVING JESUS LIFTING PEOPLE-LAUNCHING MINISTRIES, . WE WORKED WITH FAMILIES AND CHILDREN AROUND LEYTONSTONE ASHVILLE ROAD AREA IN SHARING THE GOSPEL AND PUTTING ON DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES ON SATURDAYS AND DURING THE HOLIDAYS FOR THE CHILDREN THE CHURCH ALSO PROVIDE HOT MEALS FOR HOMELESS PEOPLE IN FOREST ROAD WALTHAM FOREST 1ST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH

THE CHARITY PROMOTES BUDDHIST FAITH OF THE NEW KADAMPA TRADITION THROUGH FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES: 1. PROVISION OF STUDY AND MEDITATION PROGRAMMES FOR BOTH BEGINNERS AND ADVANCED PRACTITIONERS. 2. PROMOTING THE PRACTICE OF MORAL DISCIPLINE. 3. PROVISION OF ACCOMMODATION FOR PRACTITIONERS. 4. GENERAL FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE CHARITY.

Religious, sports/recreation activities for children, young people, and adults by providing buildings/facilities and open space

To support locally based projects where mission is the keynote of church life. To encourage congregational growth, initiatives to attract and retain young people and community outreach projects. To support initiatives which encourage working across parish boundaries and environmental & "green" community issues. Including funding for gap year students or pastoral assistants.

Providing financial support to the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple to grant scholarships and other awards to its members training to become barristers.

Dedicated to the memory of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the charity's mission is to proclaim the Gospel to German[-speaking] people in London and the South-East. At its Forest Hill church and other places of worship, it offers regular services, religious and social activities in German and occasionally in English. An important aspect of its work is caring for German expatriates and tourists in need.

The aim of the Charity is the advancement of the Buddhist religion; in particular to encourage members and others to live and practice the teachings of the Buddha and help provide a material and spiritual context for this to take place.
