Religion Charities

The purpose of the Charity is to advance the Christian Faith in the Area of Benefit in accordance with the principles and practises of the Participating Churches. In achieving its purpose, the Charity will engage in a range of Activities, a) the celebration of public worship:b) the teaching of the Christian faith;c) mission

advancement of orthodox Jewish religious education and the maintenance of an Institute for Higher Rabbinical Studies

The charity received donations during the year and paid out direct charitable activity, grants and support costs. Most of the costs relate to Leeds Kollel, an academy for advanced learning based in Leeds that also reaches out to the local Jewish community, as well as food support grants for families on low income.

Providing educational activities in the advancement of Orthodox Judaism

Providing support and funds to organisations, religious or otherwise, which provide education and those which provide religious places of worship. Providing grants to relieve financial hardship.

Dyffryn Clwyd Mission Area is a gathering of 12 church communities in the Diocese of St Asaph, sharing our faith through Worshiping God, Growing the Church and Loving the World.Worship is provided in the 12 churches, providing the opportunity to mark life events and the celebration of festivals. Outreach is provided to children, and to the lonely and the bereaved through regular activities.

The Charity's objects are to advance for the public benefit such charitable purposes connected to the Roman Catholic religion in England and Wales or in other countries where the Brothers of the Sacred Heart are established. Its current aims include: supporting Catholic education in England and in Africa, caring for elderly and retired brethren, and supporting the religious community and mission.

Ministerial oversight and pastoral care of the 19 church communities comprising the North Yorkshire Coast Methodist Circuit, extending from Briggswath & Sleights in the north, to Hunmanby in the south, and to Snainton in the west;Support a team of presbyters, supernumerary ministers and lay worker/s;Provide activities to the benefit of the public including outreach activities.

Our principle fundraising activity is through voluntary regular giving from our parishioners on a weekly or monthly basis, Gift Aided where possible. The funds are used for the upkeep of the Church building and organisation, and to Christian Charities locally, nationally and internationally reviewed by the Trustees annually as well as occasional one off appeals for specific requests.

Chilterns Area Quaker Meeting is part of the organisational structure of the Religious Society of Friends in Britain. It is the primary organisational unit for church affairs in the Chilterns; provides public worship at 7 local Quaker meetings; owns and maintains 6 meeting houses; oversees the spiritual and pastoral life of the Quaker community; and organises Quaker work, witness and outreach.

The principal activity of the company under review was the advancement of the christian relegion.

Regular public worship open to all, Pastoral work, teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. Furthering the vision with activities for parents, toddlers, asylum seekers, vulnerable adults.

The Charity commissions organisations to provide independent support to victims and survivors of church-related abuse under the banner of "Safe Spaces". The service provides a national helpline which offers support to adults aged over 18 who are victims or survivors of church related abuse of any form within the Church of England, the Catholic Church in England and Wales, or the Church in Wales.

To advance the Christian faith in accordance with the statements and beliefs, in Birmingham and in such other parts of the United Kingdom and the World. as the trustees may from time to time to think fit and other such purposes which are exclusively charitable according to the law of England and Wales and are connected with the charitable work of the charity

Seeking to acquire a redundant church building in the centre of the town of Winchcombe, in order to use it for:- promoting the arts by encouraging access to, engagement with and participation and creativity in the arts;- advancing education in the arts;- advancing in life and helping young people by the provision of a youth centre;- providing a community centre for local, community groups.

Church Ministry and outreach to the wider community providing care and support where required

Parish Church

We are a Christian Church with a view to serving the community in which we are based and further afield through missionary work. We provide activities for all age groups within our community on a regular basis throughout the week.

Running weekly church meetings as well as equipping and training events to advance the Christian faith which are open to the public; assisting other churches around the UK by member being invited to speak; relieving poverty in the local community by buying groceries for those in need; the church pastors provide support, love and guidance to people.

The advancement of the Christian faith as part of the International Church of the Nazarene.

The education and formation of Religious Sisters, by care and pastoral work in Roman Catholic parishes in Torquay, and Falmouth and by its other charitable works, as well as by the provision of teaching and pastoral care.

We provide regular public worship. We carry out pastoral work, including visiting the sick and bereaved. We teach Christianity and visit schools to take religious assemblies. We provide a youth club with a Christian ethos. We provide activities for senior citizens, parents and toddlers and other special need groups. We support other charities in the UK and overseas.
