Religion Charities

The charity exists to provide public worship according to the rites and ceremonies of the Church of England as well as pastoral care and social and religious activities for residents of the ecclesiastical Parish of Heswall. It also seeks to promote the aims of the Church of England (spiritual, social, pastoral and evangelistic) in the community of Heswall and in the wider world.

Padmaloka is a UK Buddhist retreat centre for men and hosts retreats exploring Buddhism, Buddhist Meditation and study. The retreat centre is part of the Triratna Buddhist Order (Formerly Friends of the Western Buddhist Order (FWBO)), a worldwide movement founded by Sangharakshita that aims to make Buddhist teachings and practices available in a form appropriate and accessible to the modern world.

Taking of religious assemblies in schools. Youth work with a Christian ethos. Promoting of Christianity through events and meetings and distributing literature. The primary object of the charity is the advancement of the Christian faith, which it does through the Sword of the Spirit, an international network of ecumenical Christian communities. These communities engage in pastoral and evangelistic work, in the provision of public worship, and in cooperating with one another in pursuing their compatible aims.

The PCC is responsible for promoting the mission of the Church of England throughout the town of Hitchin. It does this by working alongside the Team Rector and the other Team clergy in providing a wide range of activities and events - ecumenical, evangelical, pastoral, and social. All the churches are conscious that the communities they serve are varied in ethnicity, age, and economic wealth.

To advance the Hindu faith in accordance with Vedic Dharma for the public benefit by means of providing training and education in spiritual knowledge and Facilitating the production/distribution of publications furthering Vedic Dharma. To participate in cow protection projects in line with Vedic practiceTo participate in the development, preservation and maintenance of Hindu and Vedic temples.

The objective of Vipassana Trust (Dhamma Sukhakari) is to advance the teachings of the Buddha for the public benefit by organising and running courses of Vipassana meditation as taught by S. N. Goenka, in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin.The courses are offered completely free of charge and staffed by un-paid volunteers. People from all walks of life attend course.

Missionary activities

Promoting, developing, and translating/publishing study and devotional material of a Christian nature both for those inside and outside the church, and in particular study courses and other teaching material pertaining to the Bible on the pattern established by Community Bible Study International. The charity works within Europe and Middle East and North Africa

The making of grants to Ministers, Retired Ministers and their Widows who are members of the United Reformed or Baptist churches and also students who are studying for ministries in these churches and attending certain specified colleges. Preference is given to those fro the Northern Counties of England. The management of Almshouses belonging to the trust in York

Provision and maintenance of ritual baths for local Jewish community.

LifePoint Church is established to promote, communicate and demonstrate the Christian gospel to Swansea, the wider community and the nations of the world.

The church is concerned to reach out to the community in many ways.The Pastors and Trustees strive to arrange services in such a way that the members of the community are encouraged to join in worship and praise and also in prayer and meditation. Two main services are held on Sundays for worship, prayer and the teaching of the Scriptures.

THE CHARITY'S ACTIVITIES INCLUDE THE PROVISION & DISTRIBUTION OF GRANTS AND DONATIONS IN SUPPORT OF THE ADVANCEMENT AND FURTHERANCE OF THE JEWISH RELIGION AND JEWISH RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND THE ALLEVIATION OF POVERTY AMONG THE JEWISH COMMUNITY.

The charity is a church that operates in Bradford, West Yorkshire.We provide many community and life changing activities that are available to be accessed by our community and these are delivered by paid staff and volunteers.
