RICE COLLABORATES LOCALLY, NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY.

Establish and fund the provision of medical research facilities for enquiry into the causes, natural history, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and diseases of all kinds and to disseminate the useful results of such research for the benefit of the general public.

The BMA Foundation is an independent charity that awards funds to encourage and further medical research. Our mission is to support medical students, doctors and scientists in their research aims and help pioneer medical research.Each year, research grants are awarded to medical students, research scientists and doctors, all funded by generous past bequests.

The objectives of the Trust are to advance the education of the public in the science of archaeology and to promote the appropriate preservation, recording, excavation and interpretation of archaeological sites and historic buildings in Colchester and the neighbouring districts.

Tyne Rivers Trust has a unique role as guardian of the River Tyne Catchment, overseeing the continuing conservation and regeneration of the river from the impacts of its industrial past.The Trust provides education programmes and promotes understanding of the river to all ages, alongside the science-based, practical projects we develop and implement to improve the river system.
