The object of the The James and Shirley Sherwood Foundation is to advance such charitable purposes for the public benefit as the trustees may from time to time in their absolute discretion determine in particular (but without limitation) the advancement of education; and the advancement of the arts (in particular but without limitation botanical art), culture, heritage and science.

Chrestos Mission operates principally among refugees of the Karen people in Thailand. It seeks to advance Christianity through missionary work and providing Christian literature and Bible classes, to relieve poverty, suffering and distress in accordance with Christian principles and to advance education by provision of classes in the English language, computer science and other subjects.

The Trust owns these historic woodland gardens, listed Grade 2*, based on a design by Humphrey Repton which adjoin Antony House, Cornwall (a National Trust property), which are regularly open to the public. The gardens are also used for the purposes of research, with a view to furthering the study and science of botany and the improvement of the methods and practice of horticulture.

Blond McIndoe Research Foundation is a medical research charity that is devoted to supporting leading edge research into wound healing and soft tissue reconstruction. The Foundation seeks to play an essential role in translating practical research into results that advance patient care. We work in partnership with The Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Monitor research into the effectiveness of medical experiments on animals, provide information and educate the public as to the results of such research through public talks, scientific conferences and reports and by producing an educational film, which is available on our website. Communicate with industry and regulators about how to implement a much greater human focus in medicines research.

The Harrison Zoological Museum Trust is a registered scientific institution (CITES No. GB010), which promotes biodiversity conservation and environmental protection, primarily in the Palaeotropics and subtropics, through research, capacity building and working with local communities.

To address health inequalities for women living in Wales; by providing advocacy, support, guidance, advice and a range of resources. We aim to empower, inform, educate and raise awareness, whilst conducting and publishing relevant research. We work with NHS Wales, health boards and clinical institutions to input into strategy development.

To promote, improve, develop and maintain appreciation of and education of the public, in particular but not exclusively the LGBT plus community, in the art and science of music. The Trust is currently funding a regional programme in the Welsh Valleys that provides engineering-focused enhancement and enrichment opportunities for students and teachers in secondary schools and Post-16 as well as a bursary programme to support students progressing on to vocational education. It's aim is to create a local STEM-skilled workforce capable of meeting the region's future needs.

We share a common goal of building a collaborative network to improve acute care services in low and middle-income countries. Our network combines expertise in clinical research, health informatics, digital innovation, implementation science and education.

The objects of the York Medical Society are the advancement and diffusion of medical knowledge amongst the medical profession and the general public and the encouragement of the publication of original contributions to the study of medical science and to make donations to charitable and other worthy causes and provide medical student bursaries at the Directors' discretion.

The Annual Conference provides an educational programme of lectures.Training courses are held to support trainee scientists undertake higher qualifications.A CPD scheme helps members to maintain the knowledge and skills required to practice.A bursary scheme helps members to attend scientific and educational meetings.

Supporting charities which are involved in education/training, the advancement of health/saving lives, disability and arts/culture/heritage/science. Donating to other charities carrying out these aims will enable it to specifically target its funds for those charities which they consider are carrying out worthwhile causes in these areas but which do not necessarily receive the funding required.

The charity's objects are restricted specifically to the following: To promote, encourage and advance a) the study of spinal disorders with particular attention to the surgical treatment of spinal disease and disorders.b) the professional development of professionals dealing with the surgical and non-surgical treatment of spinal disorders.c) the education of the public about spinal conditions.
