The Oxford Institute for Energy Studies was founded in 1982 as a centre for advanced research into the social science aspects of energy. BABCP is a multi-disciplinary interest group for people involved in the practice and theory of behavioural and cognitive psychotherapies (CBT). The objects are to advance CBT by the promotion of scientific research and the application of evidence based practice including assessment, therapy and consultancy, in a wide variety of settings in accordance with the ethical guidelines.

To promote and encourage the advancement and improvement of agriculture through development of skills,techniques or research,the dissemination of such and research both as to the methods of husbandry and use of science and the use and development of agricultural implements and machinery.

We run the Maths Circles programme. Maths Circles are out-of-class maths clubs for secondary school pupils. Brain Research UK (the working name of Brain Research Trust) promotes and supports basic and clinical research into neurological disease which affects one in five people in the UK. We fund ground-breaking research at UK-wide centres of excellence for scientific research into neurological diseases and conditions.

The Trust aims to encourage the study, application and communication of science, technology and engineering. It does this through a programme of activities, projects and events that support the teaching of science and technology in primary and secondary schools, stimulate and facilitate public engagement with science and assist the growth of technology businesses in Oxfordshire.

The BSH aims to promote the study and practice of Haematology within the UK and more broadly throughout Europe and the rest of the world through its annual scientific meeting, educational and scientific grants, guidelines production, through its website, its journal the British Journal of Haematology. The BSH is open to all Haematology professionals.
