The charity makes grants to other charities and voluntary bodies. The principal aim is to provide funds for an emergency ambulance service in Barnet, Enfield and Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. Our aim is the advancement of health and to save lives.

A local caring programme to the isolated, infirmed or single parent, Toddler groups, youth, children and vulnerable adults clubs - working alongside other agencies in the town like the police, Youth & Community partnerships as well as schools. In Tanzania, we teach English to the Masai.

THE RELIEF OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, SICKNESS OR DISTRESS OR WHO ARE OTHERWISE IN NEED THROUGOUT THE WORLD IN PARTICULAR REFUGEES AND DISPLACED PERSONS FROM AZAD KASHMIR AND PAKISTAN AND THOSE PERSONS WHO HAVE FALLEN VICTIMS TO NATURAL AND MANMADE DISASTERS, AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION OF SUCH PERSONS.

Provide aid in Kenya and other places affected by natural disasters.

Pelican is dedicated to helping those with cancer live well for longer. We achieve this by supporting medical research and education to improve surgery for bowel cancer and its associated secondary disease, particularly in the liver. Pelican has become a 'centre of excellence' for sharing life-saving, life-enhancing knowledge and skills with cancer teams and specialists.

TO SERVE THE NEEDS OF THE DEPRIVED COMMUNITIES MAINLY IN ZAMBIA AND OTHER COUNTRIES BY PROVIDING LONG TERM SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS THROUGH OUR CORE FOCUS AREAS: WATER, HEALTH, EDUCATION, SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOODS, EMERGENCY RELIEF (INTERNATIONAL).

We host a mother and toddler group, a pre-school, 3 senior and 1 junior football team, social and team skittles, shortmat bowls, darts teams, snooker teams, a whist and bridge club, bingo, oap's group. We subsidise twice weekly lunches, we host functions, organise coach trips, children's Christmas party, monthly police surgeries and legal advice, occassional MP's surgeries and a polling station.

We are the UK HQ of the Free Methodist Church with 25 Churches in GB, 5 in NI, 3 affiliates in England,1 in Eire. In 2016 we furthered our religious and charitable work by operationally, financially, and spiritually supporting new and existing churches in the UK, raising funds/volunteers for international childcare, a missionary hospital in Rwanda, other overseas mission and humanitarian relief .

National Voluntary Civil Aid Services (NVCAS), also known as Civil Aid, is a voluntary organisation established in 1968, operating within Great Britain, and acts as an umbrella and resource body to connect and support voluntary resilience groups and communities, and prepares people to provide aid or assistance at a disaster, incident, or local or national emergency, to relieve pain and suffering.

In both emergency disaster relief and protracted crises, Choose Love works to identify, close and prevent gaps in support displaced people around the world. We provide grants and other assistance to frontline partners along key migration routes and in countries experiencing conflict, persecution climate change and other drivers of forced displacement.

WE RUN A WATER PROJECT IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATIONS TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF OUR BENEFICIARIES.

Badger Trust is a registered charity which promotes the conservation, welfare and protection of badgers, their setts and their habitats. It represents and supports local voluntary badger groups throughout Britain, provides expert advice on all badger issues and works closely with the RSPCA, the police and others.

We are a small and mighty UK-based NGO that lives to help our war-torn brothers and sisters around the globe. At your service: emergency humanitarian aid, crisis awareness, and education for refugees.

Dhaka Ahsania Mission UK raises funds for DAM Bangladesh for the education and training of poor people e.g. trafficked women, slum children etc. It also raises funds for relieving poverty, vocational training, water & sanitation, flood and other disasters.

1. To advance public education and training in the field of medicine by supporting medical professionals through training, workshops, seminars and personal engagement. 2. Provision of scholarships to help doctors, nurses and paramedics from all parts of India to come to the United Kingdom for training/attachment.

The Daisy Garland exists to support children and young adults with drug-resistant epilepsy and their families. The work of the charity is life-changing and life-saving.

1) To advance the religion of Islam by means of, but not exclusively, provision or assistance in the provision of facilities for worship and Islamic education (supplementary schools and nurseries).2) To advance in life and relieve needs of young people through the provision of recreational activities and support.3) To relieve financial hardship of poor people and victims of natural disasters.

Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team provides a Search & Rescue service on the mountains and off road locations in the Wasdale and Eskdale valleys of West Cumbria and surrounding areas. The team typically handles over 100 calls for assistance a year. Further information can be found at wmrt.org.uk

To provide and maintain an Inshore Lifeboat to enable us to provide search and rescue operations when tasked by M.C.A.

To further the interests of residents and businesses in, and visitors to the Mashamshire region of North Yorkshire, to establish and operate a Mashamshire Community Office and to work in liaison with the Police and other authorities to provide information and services for tourists, residents and businesses.
