We provide for social activities, lunch time meals for over 50's, coffee bar, a day centre for elderly clients, suffering for incapacity and dementia and learning difficulties which provides, bathing, social activities and friendship.

The main activities of SHOC are to provide: Housing Advice and Tenancy Sustainment; Benefits, Grants and Money Management Support, Health Management Programme, Education and Employment Programme and Home Comforts such as hot meals, bathing and laundry facilities, clothing and toiletries. These services are all provided from our daycentre which is a safe and secure environment.

CARESCO works to meet needs within the community of Sawtry and the surrounding villages in the county of Cambridgeshire. To do this CARESCO runs a day care club, a weekly cafe, a car scheme, a Christmas Day party, a carers group, the local food bank, a prescription delivery service, a men's shed, a social club and a charity shop. CARESCO also edits and publishes the village magazine.

The Kingfisher Trust 2014 provides day care for frail elderly people to enhance the quality of their lives, to enable them to continue living independently and to give respite to their carers.

We provide support to people with Dementia and mental health problems and their carers, by providing a respite service and also a day centre facility.

Support, care, education and research for those suffering through dementia and related conditions in the Haslemere area with such adjoining areas as the Trustees may from time to time decide, and the operation of a day centre providing care for those with dementia and support for their families and carers with charitable activities as the trustees may in their discretion decide.

Tending Eldercare provides services and care to the most vulnerable elderly residents via our eldercare Day Centre in the district of Tendring. We especially support those who suffer with loneliness and those with dementia and in need of respite care.

To run a community day centre to secure the same and to provide fresh wholesome meals to the said inhabitants of Farnham either at the Centre or in their homes through the Community Meals Service.

Provision of day care services for the elderly

The charity (also known as Caribbean Court) provides services that enhance the health and wellbeing of those aged over 50, with particular emphasis on the African/Caribbean heritage community. The charity also promotes understanding of people from diverse backgrounds and different ages by organising cultural events. Farncombe Day Centre offers a happy and caring atmosphere where membership is free and everyone is welcome.The Day Centre is open to everyone over the age of 50 who lives in Waverley Borough. The Day Centre is open Monday to Friday from 10am-4pm. Services include lunches, coffee and tea, social activities and entertainment, minibus pick-up and return, chiropody, hairdressing and assisted bathing.

The provision of day centre facilities for older people on 4 - 5 days each week.

The charity works in the ecclesiastical parish of Saint Mark, which is in the City Council Ward of Oscott, Birmingham. The Parochial Church Council has the responsibility of co-operating with the incumbent, Father Philip Calvert & also for the maintenance of the Church Centre. The main activities of the PCC are providing church services and a Day Centre for the care of the elderly.

The provision of a day care centre and care for those service users that attend the centre suffering from Cerebral Palsy and other disabilities. From 2009, the centre now also provides domiciliary care for its members. The centre's activities are aimed at young adults from North Staffordshire and adjoining areas.
