The Barnet Asian Old Peoples Association provides a welcoming day centre facility for the recreation, leisure and social welfare of the elderly in the Asian community.On average 80-90 members per day attend the day centre facilities .

Organizing local lectures and other events to raise money to support the Kensington Day Centre and its members, including providing activities and holidays for members and undertaking improvements to the centre.

We operate a weekly Day Centre all day every Monday for the lonely, elderly, disabled and housebound people in the Lytchett Minster & Upton area. We run outings, boat trips and an annual 8 day holiday for them.

Day centre care for the elderly

The Day Centre is open for one day per week and is run by volunteers. They arrange transport and a meal is provided and activities and companionship. It is open to frail, housebound, older people.
