Social care Charities That specialise in Childrens homes

Faith Welfare Trust promotes the welfare of disadvantaged and/or destitute children and young adults. It also supports disadvantaged children and young adults in their education and training. To do this it funds 2 children's homes (boys and girls) near Chennai (Tamil Nadu) and a school in Rajahmundry (Andhra Pradesh) where free places and lunches are provided for needy children.

The Rev. Brian Attwell and his wife, Betty Attwell, are responsible for running the St. Andrews Childrens Home (Hogar San Andres) at Chosica, near Lima city, in Peru, South America. Over 30 abandoned, orphaned, and disabled children are being cared for in this home. Both short and long-term residential accommodation is provided for children, also medical care, food, clothing and education.

Collecting Aid and raising funds in England to enable us to help and supply the Aid to the Ukraine. The funds are raised to carry this out. The Charity supports centres and orphanages in the Ukraine. The people we help are mainly children, disabled and elderly.

The provision of Theological Training and encouraging sister churches in Uganda has continued in the following ways: training of pastors in Uganda, education and sponsorship of pastors and children and travel to Uganda for mutual encouragement. We continue to support several churches and their schools/orphanages in the education of orphans and arrange visits to and from Africa.

Supporting homeless young people aged between 16 and 21 to secure their own accommodation by providing them with temporary accommodation and support.

Assist Tamil orphans in Sri Lanka by providing food, shelter, clothing and education through established orphanages in the North and East of Sri Lanka.

The main charity activities of the Grenada Voluntary Hospital committee are donation the three hospitals in Grenada with special attention to the children ward and most recent the female wards. The Society offers grants to families to prevent or relieve poverty where children and young people are in need, hardship or distress - to enable those children to achieve their potential and have the prospect of becoming useful in the world. Priority is given to children with no active parent or a mother only. Preference is given to children with family connections to the New Church.

Swallowdale helps children and young people (under 25) who are in need and live in the Blackpool and Fylde area. This is through direct application or through other charities that work in a similar field.The aim is to supplement personal resources and make up for a deficit in state funding.Swallowdale prefers to assist named individuals or groups.
