The Benevolent Fund was established for the benefit of such distressed Brother Mark Master Masons, their widows and children, or for the benefit of such masonic charities or other charitable institutions, societies and objects as the Provincial Grand Mark Lodge of Hertfordshire shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.

The Royal Welch Fusiliers Officers Benevolent fund makes grants and loans to benevolence cases brought to its attention though the regimental network. The beneficiaries are those officers, and their dependants, who hold a RWF Commission including those who now serve in the Royal Welsh. Grants are also made to charitable activities of the RWF Officers Association.

The Fund is devoted to extending immediate relief to any Mark Master Mason who has been a regular subscribing member of a Mark or Royal Ark Mariner Lodge within the Province of Nottinghamshire for a period of not less than three years, to his Widow or to his dependants, when satisfactory reasons are produced of necessity, or to the support of Masonic and non-Masonic Charities as deemed appropriate

For the benefit of the poor and needy or to or for the benefit of such other charitable institutions, societies and objects as the club shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.

To collect and distribute funds raised by members for general charitable purposes

Act for the benefit of distressed persons and to or for the benefit of such charitable institutions, societies and objects as the Rotary Club of Bedford shall from time to time direct.
