Social welfare Charities That specialise in Benevolent society

Objective: The principle objective of the Wrekin (Shropshire) Provincial Grand Lodge is purely social and benevolent. That is to assist Members and Dependents in difficulty or need, support external philanthropic charitable causes at national and local levels deemed desirable and encourage fraternity and reciprocal interaction amongst its Members and their families.

Supporting Charities and the local community

Occasional financial help for those Savage Club members in straitened circumstances.

Fund raising activities to enable the Club to do what it can for all peoples of the world.

Funds are held upon trust to apply both capital and income to or for the benefit of such other charitable institutions societies and objects as the Rotary Club of South Molton shall in constituted meeting from time to time direct.

The charity's purpose is 1.To provide immediate assistance to Berkshire Mark Masons or their widows in time of need in compliance with our by laws; 2. Support to small local charities; 3. Support to one Berkshire-wide Charity each year;4. Support to National Charitable Giving through the Mark Benevolent Fund.Support to Option 1 will always receive first call on funds.

Care of Burmese cats

To assist necessitious members, ex members and dependants of the British Fire Services Association. To look after the welfare of same by visits, telephone and electronic communications and by letter.

Making grants to Masonic and non masonic charities without restriction, generally disabled or in financial difficulties, including individuals and organisations. Also making grants to Norfolk Freemasons and their families and support the four main masonic charities.

Rotary Club service to local community and internationally:--Support of local organisations & services which provide local benefit.Support of very local organisations through a town-wide lottery.International support of pupils & students in Nepal through a separately donated fund, assisted by a Nepal Rotary Club. Support of Rotary International charity, and general disasters as they arise.

General Charitable Purposes: primarily to support the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons Fund of Benevolence, Reg Charity No. 207610. To provide relief from distress of defined persons and their immediate families and make discretionary grants/donations to defined organisations within the defined boundary of the Mark Province of Northampton Huntingdon & Bedford.

The charity continues to support children and maternity hospitals in local villages. Also supporting a sanskrit childrens school, giving food aid to needy people.

Our aims centre around service before self, both globally and in local community. We provide practical response to world disasters, floods, earthquakes. Sending shelterboxes, aquaboxes and relief supplies. The End Polio now campaigns worlds largest public health project costing $1bn fund, fundraising at Christmas collections from public & race nights to support local charities & good causes.

Grant awarding and financial assistance body for eligible IGEM Members, past and present and their dependents.

Pupose of the charity is to raise income from the Mark Lodges within Yorkshire North & East Yorkshireand apply that income to the benefit of;a) Distressed Mark Mason's, their widows or other family membersb) To assist other Masonic Charities including the Mark Grand Charityc) To support other charitable institutions within the Province of Yorkshire North & East Yorkshire.

HOLDING VARIOUS CHARITABLE EVENTS SUCH AS GOLF DAYS , YOUTH MAKES MUSIC AND ART. MAKING DONATIONS TO SHELTERBOX, MARY'S MEALS , ROTARY FOUNDATION, & VARIOUS DONATIONS TO LOCAL INDIVIDUALS AND TO SMALL LOCAL and UK REGISTERED INTERNATIONAL CHARITY DONATIONS.

TO OR FOR THE RELIEF OF THE POOR AND NEEDY OR SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE CLUB SHALL IN DULY CONSTITUTED MEETING FROM TIME TO TIME DIRECT

Relief and assistance to members and associates of British Motorcycle Racing Club and others in distress, or suffering hardship.

Fund raising and providing help to support other deserving causes

To make charitable grants and to provide financial and other support in order to alleviate hardship suffered by individuals or their families which has or may have arisen in connection with an individuals service or assistance in a mountain and/or cave rescue organisation or operation. Exclusions apply and are contained in the Declaration of Trust and application form.

The financial assistance of the Mark Members of the Province of Middlesex and Greater London and other organisations requiring charitable assistance

To help serving and retired members of Humberside Police who are in financial difficulty by providing a loan/grant. Grants can also be provied on an altruistic basis is it would help the aforementioned to deal with a particularly difficult time in their lives. The Fund is largely made up of subscriptions from members. Donations by private and public bodies are also very welcome.

Providing financial support to needy members and their families of the Hampshire branch of the National Farmers Union and to make donations to The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution and other charities of assistance generally to the farming community.
