Action on Poverty's vision is a world where everyone can work with pride for a better future. We work in partnership with people in East and West Africa to build livelihoods and transform lives; addressing barriers to safe and lasting work, hunger and injustice. These changemakers access vital skills and resources needed to earn a living and address the root causes of poverty.

Supports all affected by trauma and abuse:a) providing practical, emotional support: information b) empowermentc) supporting access for children and young people to relevant services d) acting as advocates e) raising awareness: providing education and trainingf) working in partnership with other agencies

Church services; Christian courses and events; youth work; children's work; pre-school; coffee shop and bookshop; counselling; operation of community centre; schools' work; community work; assisting homeless people; weddings and funerals; support for overseas missionaries and aid workers; assisting people with addictions; providing food parcels and furniture for the destitute.

Provision of a range of support, recovery and wellbeing services for people with mental health problems including community services, social activities, counselling, peer support and therapeutic groups. The charity also provides training for other agencies and helps to raise awareness and overcome the stigma and discrimination experienced by people with mental health problems.

Exeter Community Initiatives is a registered charity which aims to improve the quality of life for people and communities in the Exeter area. We seek to increase people's self-esteem, confidence and skills, particularly among those who are disadvantaged, socially excluded, or experiencing conditions such as homelessness or poverty.

Working in the field of Mental Health. Offering direct support to people in crisis, suicide prevention, outreach and advocacy, support for families of those suffering from poor mental health as well as friends and colleagues. Group work, peer support, talks and lectures to lower the stigma surrounding mental health. Advice and signposting. Promotion of Mental Health.

PROVISION OF FRIENDSHIP AND FOOD TO HOMELESS PEOPLE

The advancement of public education in the dramatic and visual arts with the object of improving the conditions of life for those persons who have need of such provision by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances.

Promote understanding of Islam through dialogue and seminars. Arrange prayers five times a day in the mosque. Promote development of spiritual, moral, educational and recreational initiatives for the community. Relieve poverty and hardship in various countries.

To provide for the relief of mental distress and the resulting suffering and isolation, experienced by women and girls (including, but not limited to, as a result of sexual abuse or violence) by the provision of information, advice and assistance.

GENERAL CHARITABLE PURPOSES MAKING DONATIONS TO CHARITIES SUPPORTING EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AND FIGHT AGAINST POVERTY, AS WELL AS ORGANISATIONS PROMOTING THE JEWISH FAITH IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OR IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD.

The National Health Service Retirement Fellowship offers social, leisure and educational activities and welfare support to retired NHS and social care staff and their partners. Branch and national activities facilitate continued and new friendships and members are supported in times of difficulties and financial hardship.

The Guild aims to assist generally in the relief of hardship for marine engineers, past and present members of the IMarEST, and their dependents, by making regular grants to supplement very low incomes and by making one-off grants to assist in the purchase of items essential for the recipient's wellbeing, essential home repairs, costs of respite care and with debt relief.

The Charity's principal aim is to provide relevant, focused support and giving for the benefit of disadvantaged young people mainly in the Greater London area, to encourage them to succeed in life. This support is primarily provided through education. It supports charities and charitable organisations that provide public benefit by providing donations, bursaries, and scholarships.

We work with disadvantaged children, young people, families & individuals, providing emotional, practical support and wellbeing at an early intervention stage. We Provide a diverse range of open access and targeted youth activities, therapy from aged 6 years, whole family support, parenting programmes & activities to support mental health & wellbeing. The purpose of the Charity is to maintain almshouses in the Grimsby area for use by retired sailors, fish trade workers and their wives or widows

Raising income from Charitable Foundations, Corporate Donors and Individuals. Investment income is derived from rents receivable from letting the Charity's Freehold and Long Leasehold properties. The Trustees continued to support The Beis Nadvorne Synagogue, institutions of higher and further education, institutions caring for the poor & sick and individuals qualifying as Charitable Beneficiaries.

FURTHERENCE OF ORTHODOX JEWISH EDUCATION, RELIEF OF POVERTY AND ANY OTHER CHARITABLE ACTIVITY

The objective of the Fund is to relieve poverty among and provide assistance to employees and their dependents or immediate relatives of Alliance Boots or persons or their dependents or immediate relatives who have at any time been employed by Alliance Boots.

The charity provides support for the poor, sick and needy, whether home or abroad regardless of whether they are members of the Roman Catholic Religion. The Charity has made a commitment in favour of human rights and provides help for displaced persons and support for economic, education and health development projects.
