The income of the charity is applied in the relief of hardship and distress to those resident in Hythe & Dibden, Fawley and Marchwood Parishes of Hampshire and to organisations with similar aims.

STEC delivers Community Engagement, Adult and Community Learning, Community Support Projects, Managed Office Space and Business Support on a Social Enterprise basis, to promote inclusion, employability, lifelong learning and sustainability, with focus upon deprived communities in South Liverpool (eg Speke / Garston)

1) Provision of almshouses for persons in conditions of need, hardship or distress living within the City of Cambridge and its surrounding area. 2) Relief in Need funds given annually to qualified charities and institutions for the relief of poverty and the education of the young in and around the City of Cambridge.

Bethel provides opportunity for people to explore the Christian faith and how it's lived out in life offers all community activities - "cradle to the grave" including Little Acorns carer and toddler group, Little Lambs Pre-School Centre, One Way children's club, Friday Night youth club, Cornerstone senior citizens luncheon, a food bank and a furniture ministry, Knit & Natter, Craft & Chat, BIBO.

Provision of grants for the benefit of the inhabitants of the civil parish of Sunninghill. Purposes include (in order of priority) relief of poverty, relief of age or sickness, supporting recreational facilities and supporting educational facilities.

Providing support, care and friendship for the elderly and young persons through the provision of day facilities. These offer companionship for the socially isolated, craft clubs for people with disabilities, a befriending scheme, a free mobility aid loan scheme, access to wheelchair friendly woodland walks, bird hides and an outdoor classroom facility for youth organisations and school groups.

Promotion of friendship within the Commonwealth and provide student accommodation to Commonwealth student at our London hostel.

(1) Advance hindu religion and education and mental and moral improvement in the light of Vedic philosophy and culture. (2) Relieve need due to age, poverty and sickness. (3) Provide facilities for recreation for public benefit and welfare.

The charity works with African partners on development programmes in Africa including: supporting the resettlement of children in Uganda from a Children's Home into families; supporting disadvantaged children though primary education in Uganda; supporting rural community groups in Uganda towards self reliance; supporting girls in university education in Ethiopia.

We are an organisation which provides facilities for adults with Learning Disabilities. We provide education and training that encourage service users to achieve their full potential and integrate into the community. Our setting provides a safe environment where individuals can socialise, maintain existing and learn new skills. Most important of all, to enjoy a good quality of life.

To relieve poverty by the provision of assistance in the setting up in business of persons who by their social and economic circumstances are in need and suffer voluntary unemployment and to advance the education and training of persons in the skills required for employment and self employment.

Proteus Theatre Company has a history of creating high quality work, producing a programme of touring shows, projects, workshops including participatory opportunities for the wider community. Making work for and with diverse communities, from rural villages to socially excluded young people, creating amazing experiences, advancing education and enriching lives through the performing arts.

The trust is a grant making trust. Grants are commonly in response to appeals in support of welfare for those who are disadvantaged, young, elderly, disabled, as well as maritime and Service causes, education, training and employment opportunities, community benefit, historic buildings, the environment, music and the arts. Grants are made out of income and not normally out of capital.

A RANGE OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES FOR RESIDENTS, HALL HIRE, AND TRAINING COURSES RUN DAILY. THE PROBATION HUB OPERATES FROM THE CENTRE TWO DAYS A WEEK. OUR COMMUNITY KITCHEN IS USED TO COOK DONATED FOOD FOR LOCAL PEOPLE WITH FOODBANK VOUCHERS

The objectives and activities of the charities are the support of the charitable aims of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee Inc,. and the relief of poverty, sickness, infirmity, and the advancement of the Jewish religion amongst persons of the Jewish faith.
