The charity's aim and objectives are to promote the Greek Orthodox faith, relieving poverty and sickness, advancing education and development through a Greek Orthodox Centre. A centre has been established for this purpose.

To give small annuities, special one-off grants, etc to ladies of any denomination who are in need and unable to earn. Grants are approved by the committee and temporary help can be given if the need is urgent. We give priority to ladies who are trying to maintain their own home although we also help towards a shortfall in care home fees.

The care and protection of animals, and in particular horses, who are in need of care and attention by reason of old age, sickness, maltreatment, neglect, poor circumstances, or other similar causes deemed worthy by the Trustees.

Making of grants for payment of school fees and equipment those in the north of England

1, To help provide relief to persons resident or connected with the Parish of Bradfield who are in need, hardship or distress, primarily through the provision of affordable housing.2,To further the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the Parish of Bradfield.

Supports disadvantaged children in need by 121 weekly meetings of 2/3 hours with an 'older friend', who is a volunteer. The child may have their own problems or the child may be in a family or care, that make it more difficult for the child to thrive. Aim is to improve the child's self esteem, allow them to have some fun and build confidence, plus widen their experience in a safe supported way.

Provides accommodation for village clubs, societies, meetings and social events.

Provision of a Youth Club for the communities youngsters. Provision of a Friendship Club for the older citizens. Provision of cricket bowls and football pavilions and pitches for both adults and children.provision of community meeting place for various local community groups.

Financial and other support to current and retired members of the optical profession and their dependents

The Joseph Rank Benevolent Fund was set up in 1934 to help the poor elderly in Hull. Beneficiaries are retired and receive pension credit. At the Trustees discretion, donations are also made to Hull based charities in December.

Artists Futures Fund supports artists in need, namely those experiencing economic, societal, or physical or mental health issues.

Derby Kids' Camp is a 100% volunteer-run charity providing FREE holidays for some of Derby's most deserving young children. With the support of 150-170 volunteers, approx 350-300 children each year benefit from what may be their only holiday.We provide a much needed break for disadvantaged children, children who will benefit from social/personal development or provide respite for carers.

The aim of the SACYP is to develop and build young people's potential and aspirations through our various projects that we deliver throughout Staffordshire including various sports, arts, well being, leadership and team building, competitions and youth work projects. Our work focuses on the personal and social development of young people and the inclusion of communities within deprived areas.
