Bantam Charitable Trust operates in the Mole Valley area of Surrey, UK. The charity provides grants to local individuals, or organisations acting on behalf of individuals, to assist them in meeting expenses of education for themselves or their children, and to assist individual families who are disadvantaged and suffering from poverty.

Relieving and assisting children and young persons resident in East and West Sussex who are in need of care and attention by reason of being deprived of a normal home life, with a preference for girls

The trustees consider making donations to a broad range of UK and overseas charities, where possible concentrating on the relief of suffering and poverty and on education. Claims from individuals are not considered by the Trustees.

The charity helps and supports education of the orthodox Jewish religion, relief of poverty in the Jewish community & help to maintain Jewish orthodox religious synagogues schools & colleges etc.

Provision of housing namely 'Westfield Village' for the benefit of disabled and necessitious ex-service/serving members of the armed forces and dependants.To relieve persons in conditions of need and hardship where relief cannot be provided by public funds within a reasonable time. To aid and support any charitable associations or institution connected with these purposes to the same aim.

The general objects are religious and charitable, and specifically for the general charitable purposes in connection with the Roman Catholic religion and to provide its members to enable them to work among the poor in medical, educational or social capacity.

ARRANGE RETREATS PRAYER GROUPS HELP STUDENTS COMING FROM ABROAD TO FIND JOBS & ACCOMODATION, ARRANGE EXCURSIONS TO THE AGED & RETIRED. PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO UNIVERSITY STUDENTS.GUIDANCE AND COUSELLING.PROVIDE THEOLOGICAL CLASSES TO STUDENTS .

To relieve, in cases of need, hardship or distress, persons who are or have been engaged in the footwear trade and their widows, widowers and other dependants.

The charity provides accommodation for the elderly in ten bungalows or flats. It also provides grants to organisations and individuals. These may be in respect of the Religious Society of Friends, or any charitable objects connected with the town of Ashford in Kent, or to meet expenses of education or or for the relief of poverty.

Making charitable grants, mainly to small charities which provide support to defined groups of disadvantaged or marginalised people, which are competently managed and which would be significantly assisted by a grant of between £1,000 and £5,000.

We are a charity that promotes sustainable development, conservation of the environment and poverty alleviation. We support our activities through donations and programme related investment in renewable energy. The charity has invested in 12.9MW of wind energy in India. We use the surplus income from these investments to support social and environmental initiatives both in the UK and overseas.

Provision of weekday cooked lunches to senior citizen members of the RNOFA with additional social activities, on and off club premises.

Dedicated to the memory of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the charity's mission is to proclaim the Gospel to German[-speaking] people in London and the South-East. At its Forest Hill church and other places of worship, it offers regular services, religious and social activities in German and occasionally in English. An important aspect of its work is caring for German expatriates and tourists in need.

Gatwick TravelCare assists over 2000 passengers a year with travel related problems. These cover a wide range of issues including financial difficulties, missed flights, passport irregularities and mental health. The team of staff and volunteers also works with airlines, handling agents, consulates, embassies, social services and the police to provide passengers with the best possible service.

Provides a place of worship for sikhism, facilities for the sikh community, provide services and advice to support the community and alleviate poverty and hardship.

The Grasmere Reading Rooms, is a place where the parishers and boni fide guests have the right to socialise in the bar, play snooker, darts, etc, and the odd music nights, a place for the village to hold meetings.

The relief of need, hardship or distress of the poor in particular poor orphan children and widows and the relief of sickness of the disabled and the advancement of education in England and throughout the world by providing sustainable aid concentrating on education, digital and welfare projects.

The trustees fulfil the charity's objectives by processing applications only from accredited social work agencies supporting clients in need, hardship and distress in three categories: those who are in danger of losing their homes or essential services; those caring for children in impoverished circumstances; those who have faced some personal setback and are being encouraged to start again.

The Society responds to the needs of visually impaired people in the Harrogate district by providing among other things:- a centre for social activities, handicraft training, educational classes,home visiting,information about hospital eye clinics, a telephone befriending service, counselling, display of aids for the blind and outings.

To advance education, relieve poverty, distress and sickness, to advance the Hindu Cultural and social activities for all age groups in Cardiff for Hindu Communities and open to others. We advance social activities and cultural activities for elderly people and their carers. Demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to equal opportunities concerning access, language, cultural, gender.

The purpose of the Goodly Dale Cottage Homes is "to provide accomodation for poor persons of good character each of whom shall not be less than 60 years of age (or 50 if disabled), and shall have been born or lived for 10 of the last 30 years in Windermere and Ambleside Urban Districts, Undermillbeck, Troutbeck and Applethwaite.

We operate for the residents of the Radford and surrounding areas providing activities including Education and Training. Many clubs for the Elderly with Disabilities and Special Needs. We provide advice and information to the public, A Luncheon Club for the benefit of the Elderly, Social Activities such as Dance Clubs, Bingo, Kickboxing etc.Our Building is open from 8.30-10.00 Monday to Friday

The general objects of the charity as specified in the Governing Document are to apply the incoming resources to charitable purposes and particularly for medical research, education and the welfare of the poor, aged and sick.
