Relief of necessitous Liverymen or Freemen of the Company, widows, orphans or dependents of Liverymen or Freemen of the Company and persons who have been employed by the Company. Making of grants, donations or subscriptions to any fund for charitable purposes in the City of London. Other charitable purposes beneficial to the community not included in the foregoing.

The charity makes grants to various organisations involved in education, relief of poverty and religious activities.

Provision of transport resources to charitable and voluntary organisations working to support the needs of disadvantaged individuals and communities resident in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets

Continued to let Hall for social events, dancing classes, etc, which realised ?12,095. Expenditure amounted to ?49,458. Main areas of expenditure were improvements to the Hall, electricity and gas.

The charity provides the Groombridge Village Hall to meet the needs of the local community and especially all who hire the hall, participate in activities taking place, and attend events there. We aim to provide for an increased and wider range of activities for all ages, with a view to combating social exclusion and without distinction of political, religious or other opinion.

The residuary trust fund of the late John Eastwood was given to the Corporation of Todmorden to purchase land in the said borough and to erect and maintain dwelling houses to be called The John Eastwood Homes for occupation by poor and infirm persons of the age of sixty five years and over either married or single who have resided in the said borough for at least 20 years.

To provide allotments within the old Borough of Mansfield (ie prior to 1974)

To restore, build, maintain, beautify and repair the council's buildings & secondly to help the poor & needy.

The charity carries out fund raising events to run and maintain a Village Hall for the benefit of the local community. These include social events i.e. Quiz Nights, Children's events, Music Concerts, Bingo, etc., and larger events e.g. Rock Show, Wedding Fayres, Christmas Fayre etc. It's also hired out for a number of activities e.g. Bridge, Yoga, Toddlers Play, Choir, Yoga, private functions etc.

Fund raising events have included district led events such as Bag-packing, Christmas post, and the annual Pledge Plod. Social events have included the summer barbeque and carol service. Youngsters have enjoyed numerous activities at the HQ, at Rhydd Covert and on various trips to productions and events over the last year.

Through fun, friendship, challenge and adventure we empower girls to find their voice, inspiring them to discover the best in themselves and to make a positive difference in their community. Girlguiding Manchester has Rainbow, Brownie, Guide and Ranger members aged 4 to 18. We fire their imaginations through challenges and adventures for all personalities

The Trust is for the benefit of poor people who through ill health, disability or old age are unable to earn their own livelihood; for educational and training purposes; and for the benefit of hospitals, nursing and convalescent homes or similar objects for the advancement of health or saving of lives. Supports wildlife/conservation projects for the benefit of the local community.

Founded in 1983 Kent Enterprise Trust continues its mission in support of the disadvantaged and vulnerable in East Kent. We work to increase peoples' skills, counter social isolation and move people into or nearer to employment or starting their own business. From our purpose built conference and training centre we deliver a wide range of free training courses supported by multiple funders.

To relieve the condition of disadvantaged persons in mid-Essex experiencing difficulties with homelessness, joblessness, substance misuse, physical and mental health problems, learning difficulties by the provision of support services to assist them in maintaining normal relationships with and within their community.

IRFF - UK works to eradicate the causes and effects of poverty and associated problems around the world, especially in Africa, Asia, SE Asia and Europe. We are part of an effective international network which includes the other 80+ national IRFF Chapters, and many other affiliated organisations and associations.
