Social welfare Charities

The principal focus of the charity is to make grants for (a) the relief of poverty and (b) Christian mission, both within and outside the United Kingdom.

We work with the christian churches at the Teso region of North East Uganda to provide relief of poverty, hunger and ill health through the provision of clean water, the improvement of livelihoods through training and support for improved agriculture and the development of community self help and leadership through training of community groups as well as the advancement of the Christian religion.

The advancement of religion and education, relief of poverty and all other purposes recognised be English Law as charitable.

The trust was established to make donations to charitable organisations and to relieve persons from outside the Christadelphian community who are poor or in straitened circumstances or otherwise in need, and does respond to worldwide appeals from aid agencies, such as the Red Cross, Oxfam, Children In Need, Christian Aid, Disasters Emergency Committee etc.

THE CHARITY WAS FORMED TO PROVIDE ALMSHOUSES FOR 17 POOR PERSONS OF EITHER SEX, MARRIED OR UNMARRIED AND BEING MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND OF WHOM, AS NEARLY AS POSSIBLE, SIX SHALL BE WOMEN AND ELEVEN SHALL BE MEN. ALMSPEOPLE SHALL HAVE RESIDED IN THE CITY OF CANTERBURY FOR NOT LESS THAN 7 YEARS AND SHALL BE PERSONS OF NOT LESS THAN 55 YEARS OF AGE.

The relief of poverty of persons who are or have been engaged professionally as air pilots or air navigators and who are British subjects by birth or by naturalisation or who are liverymen, upper freemen or freemen of the Guild of Air Pilots and Air Navigators of London.The relief of poverty and/or advancement of education of the dependants widows and orphans of all such persons mentioned above.

Promotion of equestrian sport for the purpose of sport and physical recreation.Promotion of equestrian training to disadvantaged, minority and youth groups.Equestrian education though demonstrations, clinics or training seminars.Provision of sanctuary facilities and care for retired equines.

The promotion in the beneficial area of education, art and musicImproving conditions of life for recreation or other leisure occupationAward of scholarships, bursaries and maintenance allowances for educational puposes.The granting of financial assistance, outfits,clothing, etc.

The relief of poverty either generally or individually of persons resident in the Parish of Hatfield who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress by making grants of money or providing or paying for items, services or facilities calculated to reduce the need, hardship or distress of such persons.

Relief of the poor of the parish of St Nicholas and St Luke's in Deptford, South-East London

The Charity is a trust and was founded in 1687 to provide almshouses for the poor and widows and widowers in the parish of Quainton

We act for the local community. We hold social events for all the community such as disco's, bingo, including a playgroup and an over 60's club. We have a club house for members where we show live sport on both Sky and BT Sport. Castle Colts football club is affiliated to the Association.We have other activities such as Zumba, KungFu, Kick Boxing, Bootcamp and Slimming World.

The augmentation of the stipends of parsons, vicars, curates and ministers officiating in the churches and chapels of the Church of England, the relief of poverty among the clergy and the advancement of religion in accordance with the faith and doctrine of the Church of England (see Trustees' Report in annual Trust Accounts for further details).

Promote for the benefit of Members of Muslim Community particularly those who are resident in Cardiff : i. As a Masonic Lodge we collect via members and visitors donations from a variety of ways (raffles,alms,box and envelopes) which we then donate to charitable causes either masonic charities and non masonic charities.The masonic hall is let to various masonic groups as well as non masonic groups

The Charity gives residential educational holidays to disadvantaged children from the City of Birmingham and the West Midlands. Children under nine years of age, some with special needs, come in small groups either with their school or parent(s). Founded in 1953, it has nine acres and many animals for the enjoyment and benefit of the children who have the opportunity to participate in their care.

FOR OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE.

Daycare centre providing a range of educational, therapeutic & social activities to adults recovering from mental ill health. The aim is to stimulate, motivate and offer opportunities for people to learn, become more independent & integrated into community facilities & activities.

Assistance to pupils or former pupils of Christ's Hospital who are in need, hardship or distress.

Provision of housing accomodation to elderly/old people of limited financial means.

An almshouse charity operating exclusively within the town of Macclesfield, Cheshire, providing accommodation for poor married couples, widows or spinsters

We cover the seven areas of learning within four sessions each week. A parent and toddler group operates alongside. We organise various fundraisers throughout the year as well as social events - such as Fun Days, Baby Sales, Singalongs, Easter, Halloween and Christmas parties for the children. Our Sports Day is held in July.

Fundraising activities include November Market, sale of wrapping paper, various social activities.
