For the benefit of the public generally and in particular South Essex and its surrounding area:1 - to promote community participation in healthy recreation through sport; 2 - to provide / help provide facilities for sport and other leisure time occupations for people who need them due to youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social circumstances; 3 - to advance the education of children

Home-Start Essex recruits and trains volunteers to offer, in families own homes, friendship, support and practical help to parents experiencing difficulties. The families must have at least one child under the age of five. Volunteers are managed by the scheme which in turn is supported by Home-Start UK. Home-Start Essex operates in the county of Essex.

To provide and maintain transport facilities in the area of Weston Super Mare, for the benefit of any persons who have need of such facilities due to poverty, disability, age, or those living in isolated areas, where there is no adequate public transport facility.

Newcastle upon Tyne Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) provides free, confidential, independent and impartial advice to people who live and work in the City. It promotes any charitable purposes for the benefit of the community in the North East region of England by the advancement of education, the protection of health and the relief of poverty, sickness and distress.

Canterbury Food Bank operates within the Canterbury City Council District (Whitstable, Canterbury, Herne Bay and surrounding villages) to alleviate poverty through the provision of crisis food parcels, items, services and facilities to individuals in financial need and contributing to and cooperating with charities and other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.

Providing independent long-term aftercare for women who have experienced abuse through trafficking and sexual exploitation

Cavell is the charity supporting UK nurses, midwives and nursing associates, working and retired, when they're suffering personal or financial hardship. We offer a package of support to help everyone who gets in touch, giving emotional support, advice on maximising benefits, signposting to specialist services and grants to relieve financial hardship for those at greatest risk.
