The objects of the Charity are to develop the capacity and skills of socially and economically disadvantaged communities of Children and Young People in the United Kingdom in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and participate more fully in society.

Sheffield Churches' Council for Community Care works with statutory and other voluntary agencies to provide packages of carefor vulnerable people: specifically to relieve poor, sick, elderly or disabled persons in Sheffield by providing or assisting in the provision of services calculated to reduce the need, hardship or distress of such persons.

We hold Quaker Meetings for Worship in five locations across Manchester and Warrington. Our Meetings are open to all, including children.We work to build peace, protect the environment and promote equality. We raise money to support causes we believe in including work with destitute asylum seekers and work to relieve poverty.

The objects of the charity are, in the spirit of Christian fellowship, and for the Public Benefit to provide for all people (but in particular for women): relief for those in need by reason of youth, age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage; education in particular by the provision of a range of courses, learning activities and educational resources.

The trust promotes its aims with the co-operation of UK charities such as The Jain Network, Jain Samaj Europe, Jain Sangha of Europe, Ahimsa for Quality of Life, Jain Academy, World Council of Jain Academies and interfaith organisations. The trustees have attended relevant international conferences/meetings and have made donations for relief of poverty, religious education & place of worship.

BRIC is a locally focused charity supporting vulnerable children and their families in Lincolnshire, providing emotional support and practical help to children and their families to get them back on their feet after dealing with issues such as illness, disability, abuse, isolation and the demands of having a young family

We are a UK network of practitioners, policy makers and researchers working with children and young people who are at risk, or who have experience of, sexual exploitation, and their families and carers. We offer support and advice; support research and policy development informed by practice; organise practitioners seminars and facilitate the sharing of learning via the internet.

Founded in 1739 and incorporated by Royal Charter in 1838, the Society grants financial relief to officers and former officers of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, QARNNS, WRNS and their Reserves, and including spouses, former spouses, and families in need. In the last year grants just in excess of £500,000 were made. Additionally many hours are spent signposting, offering advice or a friendly ear.

Providing tenancy related support and supported living. Our services allow us to provide intensive, targeted support to enable ex-offenders, homeless individuals, domestic abuse victims, people misusing substances and those recovering from mental health to have stable accommodation, develop independent living skills, access and maintain employment, education or training. Relief of poverty

Open Doors provides the teaching of the English language to those who are disadvantaged, marginalised or isolated by language or culture. We run ESOL classes and vocational NVQ courses, employment mentoring and teacher training courses to qualify teachers to teach ESOL. Open Doors provides other workshops and activities seeking to help clients increase integration.

Yorkshire Dance champions the value of dance and its development in Yorkshire. We raise standards, increase understanding around dance and its impact and foster creativity and innovation. We support talent development, facilitate programmes of community dance for underrepresented groups which address critical issues in health, community cohesion and social isolation and provide sector leadership.

Provide financial support to deprived fishing communities and not-for-profit groups;Develop and share strategies by working with governments, think-tanks, and other third sector organisations;Educate the public to more environmentally friendly and sustainable fisheries practices; and Share and disseminate best practices backed by scientific research and expert-knowledge.

Our mission is to support children and young people in need in ways that affirm their identity and worth, champion their rights, needs and interests & promote their well-being and development. We support young people through times of difficulty and distress, enabling their voices to be heard & assisting them to achieve their potential through mentoring & befriending, advocacy & positive activities

Advancing the Christian Faith principally in the Yeovil area, and other areas as deemed appropriate. Activities include troubled family support ( "Yeovil4Families"), Youth activities inside and outside schools, supporting "Yeovil Street Pastors" , "The Lords Larder" (aka Yeovil Food Bank). A Coffee Shop is operated on site, and funds are raised to support christian projects in the UK and overseas

The Big Issue North Trust supports the homeless and vulnerably housed people who sell Big Issue North magazine in the North West, Yorkshire and the Humber. From providing financial aid during periods of hardship, to funding education and training courses, to projects such as breakfast clubs and home furnishing packages, it exists to help vendors to change their lives and achieve their goals.

We are a mentoring charity working with children in deprived communities to help them grow in competence and character. WeMindTheGap bridges the gap between young people aged 16 -25 yrs, disadvantaged by their circumstances, and the wider community in the North West including North Wales, Cheshire, Merseyside & Manchester. Through the provision of totally holistic, paid traineeships the aim is to give new opportunities in life and work which address any gaps in maturation, aspiration, confidence, care and skills.

AGE UK WESTMINSTER IS A PART OF A NETWORK OF SOME 300 AGE CONCERN AND AGE UK ORGANISATIONS AND IT IS AN AUTONOMOUS AND INDEPENDENTLY FUNDED ORGANISATION, OFFERING DIRECT SERVICES TO OLDER PEOPLE IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WESTMINSTER. OUR ACTIVITIES COMPRISE:- INFORMATION AND ADVICE, HOME SERVICES AND BEFRIENDING.

Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre is a specialist sexual violence organisation providing dedicated support services to survivors of rape, sexual abuse and sexual violence in Cambridgeshire. We provide a free and confidential helpline, email support, face to face counselling, group work, training and an Independent Sexual Violence Advocate service.
