To promote the material mental and spiritual welfare of persons within the County of Pembrokeshire who are suffering from blindness, total or registered. It makes grants of clothing, equipment, and gifts of any kind whatsoever or otherwise to or for the benefit of such persons by arranging for them to be visited wherever they may be, and by arranging transport, trips or holidays for them.

MAKES GRANTS TO PEOPLE IN NEED AND ORGANISATIONS PROVIDING EDUCATION, RELIEF FROM SICKNESS AND RELIEF FROM POVERTY

The Victoria Centre in Lydney promotes the welfare of the elderly, those with disability and others in need in any manner which is legal. This is mainly achieved by offering social contact, lunches and activities at the centre.

Objectives and ActivitiesThis remains the same. To provide low cost quality housing for the poor, infirm or aged persons of thecommunity of Doncaster with the intention of providing social well being.

Relief of Poverty, achievement of education, advancement of religion and other charitable purposes within the meaning of the law of England.

Religious worship. Provision of social activities - coffee mornings, boys brigade, girls brigade, bible study, room hire to community groups.

The main activity of the Trust is to provide support for those who are socially and economically underprivileged and disadvantaged - in particular refugees, asylum seekers, victims of trafficking, people in prison, those with physical and/or mental health issues.

An organisation for young people who have an interest/connection with farming to attend talks, visits, socialise, sporting activites and competitions.

Counselling, training, healthy lifestyle, walks, social activities, events, food distribution, partnership working, all to improve the status of women.

Moulton Poor helps the Elderly in Moulton Village and the surounding areas (near Spalding in Lincolnshire)

The main function of the West Maldon Community Association is the management of the Community Centre. We try to provide a first class centre at reasonable prices, for the people of West Maldon. Most of our funds come from the hire of the centre and we also run bi-monthly quiz nights and other fund raising social events. Most of our profits are used to maintain and improve the facilities.

Advance education & religion in accordance with the tenets & doctrines of Islamic Faith contained in Quran & Sunnah in particular by providing or assisting in provision of courses, lectures,seminars & classes; Relieve poverty by providing or assisting in the provision of financial assistance to the poor; Advance charitable purpose/s as the managing committee or the society shall decide.

Relief of Hardship

Newport Memorial Hall facilitates projects and training for young people including the disadvantaged of all ages. It is run as a resource and for the benefit of Newport. It puts on workshops, classes and events for all ages and abilities. It is available at a low cost for the community.

Provision of welfare/medical equipment and services assistance with medical expenses. Provision of transport services, local centre, television licences, aid alarms and sundry further activities.

Upkeep of All Saints Church and maintenance of properties held by the charity that supply income in form of rent.

Africaid was set up in response to the challenge of HIV & AIDS in Africa. In 2005 Africaid launched Whizzkids United which provides health, education and empowerment services for disadvantaged youth. Activities include:Life Skills training through football, Peer Education & Health Academies which provide sexual and reproductive health services including HIV testing & ARV treatment.

Our charity provides social activities, respite assistance and information and help with everyday problems for our members with learning disabilities. We have a weekly social club for all members in the area from aged 18 upwards. We also operate a weekly allotment group and a 15-25 weekly activity group.

The Sea Cadet Corps is a nationwide voluntary uniformed youth organisation, open to all young people aged 12 to 18, Marine Cadets for young people aged 13 to 18 and with Junior Sections open to those of 10 to 12 years of age.The remit of the Sea Cadets is to provide fun, friendship, adventure and learning new skills based on waterborne and land based activities.

Gives grants to residents of Parish of Tutbury only, in East Staffs; to assist with expenses of further education (college or apprenticeship), in cases of hardship (each considered on individual merits). Provides premises for use of local organisations.

Promotion of the Christian faith at home and abroad by distribution of Bibles etc; support for the upkeep and acquisition of meeting rooms; relief of poverty; all in accordance with the known sympathies of the late Mrs Stone and subsequent benefactors.

To relieve poverty, advance education, advance the Jewish religion and for other purposes which are both charitable and beneficial to the persons practising or adhering to the Jewish religion in the City of Leeds and its neighbouring areas

Provide for the benefit of distressed masons their widows or children or to or for the benefit of such Masonic charities or other charitable institutions societies and objects as the Trustees shall in their absolute discretion think fit.
