The objects of the Organisation are for the public benefit: - to advance the education of the public including without limitation in the subjects of citizenship, racial and cultural harmony, national identity, and social inclusion; - to promote good citizenship including without limitation by encouraging and facilitating participation by the public in democratic and civic processes

IMO undertakes a range of activities which are designed to enhance the capabilities of young people and their life chances, along with services to help improve the quality of life of adults in the community. Advance the arts and culture especially those activities which seek to make the arts relevant to the community and thereby advance citizenship and community development.

The SHM Foundation works globally to bring about positive social change through projects in the areas of learning and citizenship, health, education and the arts with the aim to provide communities and individuals with the practical tools they need to develop innovative solutions. It uses knowledge from the humanities and social sciences to understand human motivation to address social challenges.

The Hub is a social enterprise, delivering innovative person-centred and vocational skills-development training for people with learning disabilities and difficulties to enjoy employment and active citizenship. Work-coaches support vulnerable people to thrive and enjoy 'real' working lives in the charity's trading companies and to learn new skills as part of the charity's micro-enterprises.

To arrange, manage and undertake the annual Keswick to Barrow Walk encouraging civic pride, the goodwill and involvement of the wider community, returning as much money as possible for charities and good causes

The Citizenship Foundation is an independent education and participation charity that encourages and enables individuals to engage in democratic society. We want a fair, inclusive and cohesive society. We want a democracy in which people have the knowledge, skills and confidence to take part in and drive change as effective citizens, both as individuals and communities.

The Ostro Fayre Share Foundation seeks to promote interfaith, collaboration and connectivity between different communities; to encourage good citizenship and advance entrepreneurialism as a force for good. The Foundation supports faith based charitable purposes and is engaged in promoting the relief of poverty and women's economic empowerment in Burma.

Public Interest News Foundation (PINF) operates in the UK and works to promote public understanding and knowledge of the principles and practice of investigating, reporting and disseminating Public Interest News; promote citizenship and civic responsibility and encourage informed participation and engagement by the public; promote high standards of ethical conduct and best practice in journalism.

The Community Playcentre is set up for the advancement of education and citizenship or community benefit. Objectives are to benefit children and young people in the parish of Walberton and Binsted and surrounding areas. Having built a sustainable building, the charity's role is to manage, maintain and improve the facilities the building will offer.

Future Regeneration of Grangetown activities continue to benefit the inhabitants of the economically and socially disadvantaged area of Grangetown. The Commonside Trust works with local people in East Mitcham to address poverty and worklessness by running projects promoting good health, learning, entrepreneurship, creativity, good citizenship and sustainable development.

We develop literacy, critical thinking and active citizenship for young people, through experimenting with literature and combined arts. We nurture the talent of tomorrow. We empower disadvantaged and under-represented young people to fulfil their artistic potential. We do this through writing and performance workshops.

Our purpose is to provide grants to existing charities whose principal aims are to support the advancement of (a) education, (b) environmental protection or improvement, (c) animal welfare, (d) citizenship or community development.Priority is given to supporting our local communities in (i) Suffolk and (ii) the City of London and its environs.

To promote racial harmony for the benefit of the public by:(a) Raising awareness of equal opportunities, diversity, and citizenship, in particular but not exclusively through the provision of information, materials, and training.(b) Providing or assisting in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation, or other leisure time occupation of individuals.
