We achieve our aims by supporting the education community with:teacher professional development, training, conferences and networking;resources, our journal and by sharing research;advocacy and policy influencing aimed at strengthening Citizenship education.

The Randeree Charitable Trust is a grant making charitable organisation which makes grants in the areas of: interfaith dialogue and religious understanding; community cohesion; empowerment of young people and those from disadvantaged communities through educational initiatives, mentoring, and encouraging civic engagement; education related projects; amateur sports; and other charitable endeavours.

Read for Good's aim is the advancement of education of children and young people in the UK, by the promotion of reading for pleasure and associated literacy skills; and the advancement of citizenship, and the provision of relief to disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.

IMO undertakes a range of activities which are designed to enhance the capabilities of young people and their life chances, along with services to help improve the quality of life of adults in the community. The SHM Foundation works globally to bring about positive social change through projects in the areas of learning and citizenship, health, education and the arts with the aim to provide communities and individuals with the practical tools they need to develop innovative solutions. The Hub is a social enterprise, delivering innovative person-centred and vocational skills-development training for people with learning disabilities and difficulties to enjoy employment and active citizenship. Work-coaches support vulnerable people to thrive and enjoy 'real' working lives in the charity's trading companies and to learn new skills as part of the charity's micro-enterprises.

The Ostro Fayre Share Foundation seeks to promote interfaith, collaboration and connectivity between different communities; to encourage good citizenship and advance entrepreneurialism as a force for good. The Foundation supports faith based charitable purposes and is engaged in promoting the relief of poverty and women's economic empowerment in Burma.

The Commonside Trust works with local people in East Mitcham to address poverty and worklessness by running projects promoting good health, learning, entrepreneurship, creativity, good citizenship and sustainable development.

NERS supports and is committed to the work of the Regional Refugee Forum and the North East Strategic Migration Partnership. Ners highlights the need to carry out further research in areas of communities' relations and issues of citizenship and the feeling of belonging. Global Link is a Development Education Centre, providing creative and participatory learning experiences, to increase awareness of the global dimension and action towards a more fair and sustainable world. These include the 8 key concepts of: global interdependence, values and perceptions, sustainable development, social justice, diversity, citizenship, human rights, and conflict resolution.

The Community Playcentre is set up for the advancement of education and citizenship or community benefit. Objectives are to benefit children and young people in the parish of Walberton and Binsted and surrounding areas. Having built a sustainable building, the charity's role is to manage, maintain and improve the facilities the building will offer.

The Foundation seeks to support charities whose services in turn support disadvantaged groups or communities, alleviate poverty, advance education, promote good citizenship or community development.Applications are by invitation only, and priority is given to charitable services delivered in the UK.

To promote racial harmony for the benefit of the public by:(a) Raising awareness of equal opportunities, diversity, and citizenship, in particular but not exclusively through the provision of information, materials, and training.(b) Providing or assisting in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation, or other leisure time occupation of individuals.

Our purpose is to provide grants to existing charities whose principal aims are to support the advancement of (a) education, (b) environmental protection or improvement, (c) animal welfare, (d) citizenship or community development.Priority is given to supporting our local communities in (i) Suffolk and (ii) the City of London and its environs.
