ACTIVE HORIZONS IS A YOUTH LED ORGANISATION ESTABLISHED TO PROMOTE ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP AND PARTICIPATION TO YOUNG PEOPLEAGED 13- 25 YEARS LIVNG IN LONDON BOROUGH OF BEXLEY.WE WORK TO PROMOTE THE VOICE OF DISADVANTAGED YOUNG PEOPLE PARTICUALLRY FROM THE BLACK ETHNIC AND MINORITY COMMUNITY AND ENSURE THAT THEY PLAY A POSITIVE ROLE IN THE WIDER COMMUNITY.

Our charity supports mainstream education through provision of a homework club andGCSE prep workshops. However, our supplementary school teach Islamic religion, celebrate our cultureand activities to support mainstream education but equally promote good citizenship and good health forall. Also we run workshop and projects that help the young people and their families to do well in education.

African Child Trust (ACT) is working to relieve poverty among disadvantaged children and women-led households in Africa. Support of disadvantaged students at Ullswater Community College enabling them to take part in extra-curricular activities organised by the College.Donations to other Charities are made from funds raised by students as part of their Citizenship studies.Awards to students who have worked diligently to achieve outstanding work.Awarding bursaries to gifted and talented students.

The Ecumenical Council for Corporate Responsibility's core charitable objective is to prevent and relieve poverty, and to advance environmental protection, human rights, conflict resolution, citizenship and community development, by promoting business ethics, corporate responsibility and ethical investment.

MEBP's aim is to develop the employability skills of all Medway's young people, to prepare them for work and citizenship, and in so doing improve the economy in Medway. MEBP does this by engaging employers and other adults to support a wide range of activities, in the classroom and workplace, for children of all ages but concentrating on 14 - 19 year olds.

BRASS supports asylum seekers and refugees in Bolton with a range of support including an advice service covering immigration/settlement issues, rights & responsibilities/citizenship, accessing services and employment.
