SSBB seeks to advance the education of young people of Stockport and Greater Manchester in the pursuit of music making through its organisation, support, training and provision of music facilities. SSBB continues to advance the education of the general public in the art of brass band music through continuing to perform in public in many different venues including theatres, churches and schools.
