Provides newspaper archives for research etc, other local archives, companies, industrial info, photographs (35000) and approx 1000 maps. We sell our own local history books (produced in house) to raise funds to operate, provide schools with local history information in classes. We provide a free entry reading room for visitors and other local groups.
