The Playingfield is an public grass area maintained for the use of general public and village sports club. General public use it for various activities, but mainly sports and dog walkers. Playing field has a pavilion. The appointed committee runs the sports clubs voluntarily which also has youth and adult teams playing recreational sport all year round.

The education of handicapped or underprivileged groups, the provision of funds and equipment to hospitals for the purpose of research and education in medicine, relief of poverty, funding the building of schools, relief of famine, and provision of Guide Dogs for the blind.

The charity is responsible for the Wollerton Village Room which is available to all local residents for cultural, sporting and recreational purposes. Use of the Village Room over recent years has been made by the Parish Council, slimming club, dog training club, gardening club as well as for bridge, bingo and various private social events.

The aim is to help those wishing to pursue a career in horsemanship and who have not got sufficient financial resources to receive tuition and pass the necessary exams to pursue their chosen career,

Annual village fete, book fairs, social gatherings and fund-raising events, weekly table tennis meetings, dog training events, and providing accommodation for meetings of the Parish Council and for Child Therapy sessions. Hall available for private hire. Proceeds to the hall.

Provide a warm comfortable building for meetings of women's institute, dog training, whist drives, dancing classes, birthdays, funerals etc.

Neutering and rehoming cats on Merseyside

Once monthly bingo evening.Hall is available to be hired by the public and is used for a range of activities such as;Weekly indoor carpet bowls club.Local band practices.Other sports and leisure activities.Dog training classes

The objective of the charity is to train air-scenting dog teams to assist , for the public benfit, the Police, Mountain Rescue Teams, and any other organisation involved with Search and rescue of persons missing or overdue in situations which benefit from the use of air-scenting dogs.

The trustees have identified a project on which some of the reserves could be utilised, and are awaiting the result of a planning application.

THE RESCUE CARE AND WELFARE OF SICK, NEGLECTED OR ABANDONED HORSES AND PONIES.

The Working Horse Trust's principal activity is the keeping of heavy horses in order to help preserve them. Throughout the year we attend a variety of events, hold open days and undertake work with our horses to encourage wider interest, support and ownership.

Loch Neaton is an area in Watton Norfolk managed by unpaid trustees . The water of approx 2 acres is used by people as a fishing venue while the surrounding area is landscaped with facilities for picnics. Footpaths around the lake are used by dog walkers and pedestrians. This recreation area was given to the people of Watton by benefactors who wanted the people to have a unique leisure facility.

Provides a home for Llangarron short matt bowls club, which meets once a week on a Monday and also meets other days to play matches. Is also used for dog training and also for a weekly meeting of a ladies exercise club to do a yoga class.

To help with the neutering of feral, stray and domestic cats. To raise funds for this purpose and animal welfare.

Maintain national register of dog blood donors. To raise funds for a research programme to identify dog blood groups.

The relief of suffering and cruelty to animals, in particular horses, donkeys, sheep and cattle, who are in need of care and attention with the object of restoring them to health and rehabilitation. Educating others in animal welfare.

Sport & sports coaching for children aged 7-18. Room for fund raising occasions:- Queenscourt Hospice. Derian House - Childrens Hospice. Guide Dogs - Southport Swimming Club, to name a few.

Fundraising for Kennel Lane School through Discos and Summer Fetes and requesting donations from corporates.

The holding of up to 2 shows annually for the exhibiting of sheep, poultry, horses, dogs,horticultural produce, handicraft and domestic science and other rural activities and pursuits for the advancement of agriculture and horticulture in the parish of Cornwood and surrounding area

Sport/recreation Open space in residential area for dog walkers, children to play ( no play equipment), etc

The group meets once a month. It is an important social gathering for the membership who are elderly. We have interesting speakers and include sessions learning crafts. We have outings to places of interest with educational input. We support the work of the IOW Ability Dogs for young people.
