HYPS rescues dogs from a variety of situations - whenever they need us the most - but primarily from local "stray pounds". We give them the care and veterinary attention many need before rehoming. We rehome responsibly and match dogs and new owners carefully. We also source other suitable rescue spaces for dogs in Yorkshire pounds, and fund their transport costs in order to save their lives.

RE-HOMING CATS AND DOGSFUNDRAISING

The Charity rehomes cats/kittens in the Colchester area. Each cat has a vet check up, neutering, vaccinating, microchipping.We have a number of cats available for rehoming. Some cats are also looked after at the Sanctuary for the rest of their lives, cats are only put to sleep on veterinary advice.We are entirely dependent on our fundraising, and run a small Charity Shop to help provide income

Romanian rescue appeal have now built three dog shelters in Romania. The charity cares for nine hundred dogs split into different localities, who we rescued from abuse, malnutrition, homelessness or imminent euthanasia via barbaric methods.. The charity run spay and neuter campaigns and have a programme for UK volunteers to visit all of the sites in Romania.

Pawprints Dog Rescue takes in dogs which have been picked up by local Dog Wardens, and which would have otherwise been euthanized following their statutory 7 days in local authority care. It also arranges foster care or new homes for dogs whose owners facing hospitalisation or terminal illness.Pawprints neuter, vaccinate and provide medical treatment for the dogs before rehoming them.

Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre teaches riding, horse care and therapy to children and young people. Many of the children are disabled and come from disadvantaged backgrounds. The children would not otherwise have the opportunity to have the experience of interacting with animals and taking part in this sport.

The provision, to disabled children and adults, of instruction and practice in horse riding, stable management and carriage driving.

The charity helps people who are struggling to care for ex-racehorses. We do this through support and education and, where this is not sufficient, we take in these horses for retraining and rehoming.

To relieve the needs and help promote good health of people of the armed forces and emergency services who have been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), in particular but not exclusively by:1) Providing trained assistance dogs from Rescue2) Raising public awareness of PTSD in Service people

To relieve the suffering of animals, in particular cats, in need of attention by providing the protection, treatment, rehabilitation and rehoming of animals who have come into our care by reason of sickness, maltreatment and poor circumstances.

We are a national charity supporting, rehabilitating, protecting and celebrating serving and retired police dogs from across the United Kingdom.

Enhancing Life Skills through Horse Skills

Promotes kindness not cruelty to animals. Provides veterinary assistance to pet owners on benefits. Fosters, rehabilitates and rehomes abandoned, unwanted cats and rabbits. Available for animal advice, information, and help to vets, members of the public, social services, and prospective animal adopters.

Education of local people and those with a learning or physical disability or who are socially or economically disadvantaged in agriculture and animal welfare, including education in farming, horticulture, conservation, basic maths, and communication skills and training in horse riding, including carriage driving and horsemanship. Registered for Riding for the Disabled.

Rescue and re-homes abandoned dogs and puppies, provides veterinary care and kennelling.

To rescue and provide care and shelter for stray, abandoned, neglected and unwanted animals of all kind. To protect animals from ill usage, cruelty and suffering. The relief of persons unable to afford veterinary fees for spaying cats and dogs by assisting with the charges. The relief of the elderly who are unable to afford kennel costs or veterinary bills for their pets.

We rescue and rehome dogs from the UK, Romania and Spain. We provide financial support to a dog shelter called Amicii Dog Rescue (Romania).

SPORT HORSE BREEDING OF GREAT BRITAIN IS A REGISTERED CHARITY WHOSE OBJECTIVES ARE TO DEVELOP AND IMPROVE THE BREEDING OF THE BRITISH SPORT HORSE.

The relief of blind and partially sighted people, mainly by training and providing guide dogs known as "Seeing Dogs" and training those people instruction in the use, care and control of Seeing Dogs.Breeding, purchasing or otherwise lawfully acquiring dogs of a nature and physique appropriate for training as Seeing Dogs.

Lost Dog engages the public in dance/theatre through creating and touring shows, running workshops (both online and in person) and hosting professional development activities at is base in East Sussex.

Rescue and rehabilitate unwanted and abandoned animals, mostly dogs, cats and rabbits. Staffed by Volunteers who are responsible for all aspects of the rescues work. Animals are cared for in foster homes. Run a 24 hour Helpline. Operate an online Lost and Found service. Support a number of food banks with pet food. Foster the pets of owners in crisis working with various agencies.

Rescue Kennels

AWOL fundraises inthe UK to provide free veterinary treatment for donkeys, horses, dogs, cats and camels in poor non-tourist villages on the west bank of the Nile in Luxor, Egypt. AWOL also provides free equine tack, dog collars and education about better animal care.
