Arts Charities That specialise in Choirs

The Trustees provide hall facilities to villagers for functions:-Yoga and fitness classes, dancing, youth group, weddings, choir practices, parties, various hirings etc.

Open rehearsals of choral music for all ages and abilities, culminating in public performances; together with encouragement of appreciating variety of music for wide spectrum of singers and audiences in area; including work with youth, elderly and unwell and assistance with Singing for the Brain charity.

THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS IN ORDER TO ADVANCE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN, AND APPRECIATION OF, THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC.

If requested, the choir sings at Charitable Events or other Functions anywhere within Carmarthenshire,Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion.

Choral singing and concerts

The advancement of education in the arts for the benefit of the public and in particular the arts of drama, mime, dance, singing, and music by supporting the principal charity, the Gloucestershire Everyman Theatre Company Ltd, by providing, furnishing and equipping new buildings, preserving and improving the Theatre, and providing financial support for its charitable objects and activities.

Study and performance of choral music.

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in the appreciation of the art and science of music, and in particular 20th century English music by the presentation of public concerts and recitals, and by such other ways as the society though its committee shall determine from time to time.

Choral Society drawing members from the South Eaast Kent Area -

Our rehearsal and concerts aim to educate members and audiences in their knowledge and appreciation of classical music. No auditions are held. Activities: 2 concerts per year (November and April) using its choir and a professional orchestra and soloists. It is the only provider of live classical music in the borough and always provides specific information in its own extensive programme notes.

High quality chamber choir singing

The object of the Society is to educate the public in the dramatic and operatic arts, and in particular the Savoy operas, to further the development of public appreciation and taste in the said arts, to assist and further such charitable institutions and charitable purposes as the Committee shall from time to time determine.

The society gives two concerts per year, with professional soloists and full orchestra. Rehearsals are held weekly from September to April or May, and no auditions are required.

Preston Cecilian Choral Society is an 100-strong choir based in the city of Preston, Lancashire, UK. It sings several concerts a year in venues across the city of Preston and elsewhere in the vicinity.

The objects of the charity are the study and practice of choral music (in particular male choral music), in order to foster the public knowledge and appreciation of such, by means of public performance.

CONCERTS ARE GIVEN BY INDIVIDUAL CHOIRS WITHIN THE NORTH WALES FEDERATION IN SUPPORT OF LOCAL CHARITIES WITH THE BENEFIT OF PROMOTING MALE VOICE SINGING FOR ALL AGES WITHIN LOCAL COMMUNITIES. CONCERTS HAVE BEEN HELD RECENTLY AT BOTH BANGOR AND WREXHAM WHEN SMALLER CHOIRS COMBINED TO GIVE CONCERTS TO LARGER AUDIENCES IN SUPPORT OF LOCAL CHARITIES.

Philomusica is a mixed-voice choral society giving concerts in both rural and urban churches throughout Gloucestershire and Worcestershire, as well as performances in Pershore and Tewkesbury Abbeys.

To entertain and to promote and support music in the local area by giving people the chance to be a member of a male voice choir.

We organise an annual musical and drama festival in Carlisle. Entries are mainly from young people but there are classes for adults. Musical classes cover singing and instrumental playing. We are members of the British and International Federation of Festivals for Music Dance and Speech.
