Arts Charities

To promote and develop the knowledge, understanding, appreciation, and performance of and participation in classical music by supporting the Traismeno Music Festival. To advance the education of the public in classical music by the provision of master classes.

The Friends of Llandaff Cathedral exists to support the Dean & Chapter by providing grants for the maintenance and enhancement of LlandaffCathedral, its buildings, contents and surroundings, and to support its traditions of worship including its music and choirs. To do this, we collect subscriptions from our members and receive donations, bequests and legacies.

PRODUCING & PRESENTING THEATRE PERFORMANCES

The Association has existed for over 45 years, providing various activities for all ages and interests within the Felling Community Centre. The Centre provides access to low cost room hire for the provision of:-Adult Learning and Training facilitiesSequence Dancing eveningsKeep fit & low impact exercisesLuncheon Clubs and Cookery classes& is always looking at new group hire.

We will be providing a Community Managed Library run by trained volunteers from the local community. We will offer a traditional library service as well as developing other activities and events for all age ranges creating a community hub for independent learning, recreation and leisure.

Provision of music therapy services including accessible community choirs for people affected by aphasia (communication difficulties after stroke or brain injury).

The object for which the charity is formed is for the public benefit, the advancement of education among all ages and abilities in the language, literature, history and culture of Russia and the provision of supplementary education for primary and secondary school aged children. The charity operates in Woking UK (Surrey).

To provide grants and donations for such charitable purposes for the public benefit in Regents Park andsurrounding areas as are exclusively charitable according to the laws of England and Wales as thetrustees may from time to time determine.

Masque produces five major indoor plays a year and an outdoor summer production of a Shakespeare play. We also provide performances in the community on behalf of other charitable or service organisations. The Masque Youth Theatre provides a weekly workshop for young people from 11-18 and produces one public performance a year. They also offer performances for other organisations.

A Choral and Orchestral Society devoted to performing classical choral and orchestral music for the benefit of members and the general public

The Sovereign Grace Advent Testimony by literature and meetings expounds the teaching of the Bible concerning the Doctrine of Salvation in Harmony with prophetic truth.

The Yeovil Lions organise annual localised events to raise funds for local and national purposes, such as the annual Beer Festival, Golf day, Quiz nights, Ladies Lunch and other fund raising events.

Advancing the Kingdom of God through proclamation of the Gospel of Christ, discipleship, social and community action. Training & equipping Christians for the work of ministry, youth and children ministry disabled & elderly, homeless and vulnerable people, media, music, performing arts and publications.

The Stafford and District Choral Society practice to perform three concerts a year. Two are their own for the general public which they finance themselves. One is a charity concert at Christmas from which they give donations to two charities. The final concert is part of the Stafford Music Festival. The aim of the society is to encourage participation from anyone who enjoys music and singing.

Our objective is to advance the Christian religion for the public benefit in such parts of the United Kingdom as the trustees shall decide, and inYorkshire and the Humber in particular, through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals producing/distributing christian literature to enlighten others about Christian religion.

Development of musical talent in a deprived area of south Norfolk, by running instrumental and ensemble teaching activities, for over 100 young people, during a weekly term-time club. Associated concerts, workshops and other events throughout the year, run since 2000.

Lions Youth Brass is a volunteer led, non-profit organisation and our purpose is to educate for the public benefit young people in the South Cheshire North Staffordshire area, and to give them the opportunity to learn, play and perform in a brass band environment.

We serve the local communities with a venue to utilise for activities. We hire out the hall for private functions and run regular activities such as badminton, Morris dancing, salsa, exercise and dance groups.

To advance the education for the public benefit by the promotion of the arts, in particular, but not exclusively performing arts.To help young people, especially but not exclusively through leisure time activities, involving performing arts so as to develop their capabilities so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.

TO ADVANCE THE THEATRICAL ARTS, AND ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THE THEATRICAL ARTS, BY THE AWARDING OF GRANTS TO CHARITIES OR OTHER COMMUNITY GROUPS, PROJECTS AND ORGANISATIONS, WORKING TO FURTHER SUCH PURPOSES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT.

The Friends of Lytham Hall whose objectives are: To preserve for the benefit of the local community and of the nation at large Lytham Hall together with its works of art, furniture and contents. To ensure that the Hall is used primarily as an art gallery, museum and visitor centre and to provide other amenities of a similar nature for the benefit of the public

Brass bands and musical education in the local area

The Provision of a Recreation Ground for the benefit of the Inhabitants (and in particular, but not exclusively, members of the past Mining Community) of the area of benefit, without distinction of Political, Religious, or other opinions, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said Inhabitants.We incorporate Brass Band,Bowling,Football,Rugby & Boxing/Exercise Gym Facilities.

The London Topographical Society concentrates exclusively on making available, to itsmembers and the general public, material illustrating the history, growth and topography ofLondon. Since its foundation in 1880, the Society has reproduced an unrivalled selection of historicmaps, plans and views of London. It also publishes books and monographs containing originalresearch.

We carry out archaeological digs, have a full speaker and summer activity programme, provide news and resources about current happenings in archaeology via newsgroups and a website, and provide speakers on a wide range of archaeological subjects. We outreach to the local area via public lecture programmes and the Chepstow Festival.
