Operating a Girl Guides Association

Providing a centre [snooker hall], recreation hall, kitchen and office for young people [scouts, guides, brownies etc for whom facilities are provided free] and a meeting place for social gatherings as well as to provide assisted holidays and outings to the seaside for the elderly inhabitants of the area.

WE PROVIDE REGULAR MEETINGS FOR OUR MEMBERS, FOLLOW APPROPRIATE PROGRAMMES FOR THE DIFFERENT AGE RANGES, ENCOURAGING LEARNING, SELF DEVELOPMENT, DECISION MAKING AND TEAM LEADING.OUR MEMBERS ARE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE PART IN INTERNATIONAL GUIDING VISITS, CAMPS AND ADVENTUROUS ACTIVITIES.WE ARE OPEN TO ALL WOMEN AND GIRLS FROM THE AGE OF 5 AND WELCOME MEMBERS WITH DISABILITIES.

Provision of facilities : Guides, Brownies, Rainbows, Dance, Art , Drama ,Sr & Jr Football , Cricket , & Keep Fit. Various other private functions - Weddings, Family Celebrations, Educational purposes for young Children by Surrey Wild Life & schools. We hold Fetes, Fun Days & Shows etc to assist in maintaining premises.

The objectives of WYSGGA (now known as Girlguiding West Yorkshire South) are to develop, promote and advance guiding. Lincolnshire North is a branch of Girlguiding UK, which with its branches forms United Kingdom's largest voluntary organisation for girls and young women. The principal activities of the charity include but are not limited to:- holding regular meetings for Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Senior Section members.- organising activity days and training events for girls and leaders; and- organising indoor and outdoor residential events both within the UK and abroad.

Provide premises for use/hire by local groups and individuals. Some of our users includeKarate, Church Meetings, Pilates, Line Dancing, various Keep fit, Games club, Lace Making, Slimming World, Yoga, Brownies and Guides. These are some of our regular groups, we also have other groups that meet occasionally plus hall hire for parties and functions.

HAS A FULL STRUCTURED PROGRAMME OF ACTIVITIES FOR GIRLS AND WOMEN AGED 5 YRS -65 YRS. GIRLGUIDING ENABLES GIRLS AND YOUNG WOMEN TO DEVELOP THEIR POTENTIAL TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO THE WORLD.

Provides a wide range of activities & other opportunities for girls & young women. These vary from indoor challenges to outdoor pursuits, from social skills to social action. All focus on enabling the membership to have fun, build friendships & gain valuable life skills. The stimulating & enjoyable programmes in which the girls share are delivered by trained & enthusiastic volunteer leaders.

To promote and maintain for the benefit of the area a facility where community activities can be held. These include culture and sport activities such as various forms of dancing, drama and pantomime society, keep fit, snooker, pre school toddlers football, Brownies and Rainbows, mother and toddler groups, board games group, parenting sessions etc.

The Division is responsible for the management and oversight of the Girlguide units (Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Senior Section) within the Maidenhead area and represents the local tier of management reporting to the County Commissioner. Activities range from organising Division events for Girls, to providing oversight and support to individual units and the unit leaders.

The objective of Girlguiding Cardiff & East Glamorgan is to facilitate the purpose of Girlguiding UK in its area, by providing a structure and organisation, by training leaders and by obtaining and managing funds to be utilised to this end. The purpose of Girlguiding UK is to enable girls and young women to develop their potential and to make a difference to the world.

The hall is hired out to Pre-school group, Cricket clubs, Probus, Woodmancote Society, Indoor Bowling club, Scouts, Cubs, Guides and Brownies etc., Dog handling, Women's Institute, Bishops Cleeve U3A, parties, village events, and the Parish Council meet monthly.

Groups of individuals from babies groups to elderly - toddlers - tea dances - coffee bar - brownies - dance school young & old. Disabled groups. Variety of private parties - dances. Disco. Keep fit - all ages. Slimming world - yoga - meeting courses - private hire.

Pevensey Memorial Hall is for the use of the community. The hall is hired out for Ballroom Dancing, Modern Sequence Dancing, Indoor Bowls, Guides and Brownies. Bingo is held every Friday evening and the Hall is hired out at any other available time for various functions. The Hall also produces a 32 page glossy covered magazine, The Parish Pump,distributed free to 5000 homes, three times a year.

WE RAISE AND MANAGE FUNDS TO MAINTAIN THE VILLAGE HALL FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC OF THE VILLAGE AND SURROUNDING AREA. WE HOLD FUND-RAISING EVENTS AND HIRE THE HALL OUT FOR COMMUNITY & SOCIAL ACTIVITIES, E.G. BROWNIES, WOMENS INSTITUTE AND PARISH COUNCIL MEETINGS, FOR ART CLASSES, DANCING & BINGO SESSIONS AND TO INDIVIDUALS FOR EVENTS SUCH AS WEDDING RECEPTIONS AND CHILDRENS' PARTIES.

ADVANCEMENT OF CHRISTIAN FAITH.PROVIDE SPACE FOR USE BY ORGANISATIONS SUBSIDIARY AND ANCILLIARY TO THE METHODIST CHURCH, EG SCOUTS, CUBS, BEAVERS, RAINBOWS, BROWNIES, WIVES GROUP, WOMENS NETWORK, LUNCH CLUB, COFFEE MORNINGS, SUNDAY WORSHIP, CHURCH MEETINGS, MUSIC AND DRAMA.

Enables girls & young women to fulfill their potential to take an active & responsible role in society through its distinctive stimulating & enjoyable programme of activities delivered by trained volunteer leaders.The aim is to help girls and young women develop emotionally, mentally, physically & spiritually so they can make a positive contribution to their community & the wider world.

Leasing and upkeep of Hall (under HQ name)Running Explorer, Scout, Cub and Beaver troop: General weekly activities plus camps.

Girlguiding Kent East County is the operating name for the Guides of Kent - Kent East. We have Rainbow, Brownie, Guide and Ranger Units throughout the Kent East area, that are run in accordance with the aims, mission and requirements of Girlguiding, with a variety of badgework, covering all aspects of a very wide-ranging programme.
