Girlguiding Kent West offers girls and young women quality girl-led guiding opportunities, presenting challenge and adventure, which develop their potential and enable them to make a positive contribution to their community and beyond.

The charity provides premises for the benefit of the people in the parish of West Monkton for educational and recreational purposes. Users include, Badminton clubs, Dance clubs, Brownies, National Childbirth Trust, Camera Club, Monkton Players Drama Club, etc as well as specific events and exhibitions. Also meeting place for South West of England Samaritans Group.

The charity promotes Girlguiding which is a national organisation. Girlguiding Saltash District runs organised guiding activities in units, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers in Saltash, Cornwall. The District owns and manages its Guide Headquarters based in Saltash, Cornwall which is run by a separate management committee.

Girlguiding Urmston Division, as part of a worldwide organisation, enables girls & young women to fulfil their potential & to take an active part in society, through a stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities delivered by trained volunteer leaders. We have Rainbows (aged 5-7), Brownies (aged 7-10), Guides (aged 10-14), Young Leaders (aged 14-18), Rangers (aged 14-18) and Inspire (18-30).

In Girlguiding we promote the education of girls and young women whoever they are, wherever they're from, know that girls can do anything, to help them develop through fun, friendship, challenge and adventure, both mentally and physically to empower them to find their voice, inspiring them to discover the best in themselves and make a positive difference in their community and the wider world.

To pursue the objectives of Girlguiding UK concerned with assisting girls and young women to fulfil their potential by taking an active and responsible role in society.

Girlguiding Herefordshire is part of Girlguiding UK, the largest organisation for girls and young women.

Developing young girls into useful members of society with a social concience by various activities including fund raising,helping others,outdoor activities and practical skills.

The Guide Association, as part of a worldwide Movement, enables girls and young women to fufil their potential to take an active and responsible role in society through its distinctive, stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities delivered by trained volunteers. This charity owns and provides a Brownie and Guide Holiday House and a Brownie and Guide Campsite for use by all members.

The Bentley Heath Community Association is responsible for the running and upkeep of the Bentley Heath Village Hall. The hall is used extensively by the local community and has done so for the past 50+ years. It is used by The Brownies, Dorridge & District Patients Group, many Gardening groups, and Keep Fit groups.

To promote the education of girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their community and the wider world.

The provision of scouting and guiding activities for local children. We currently have groups for each of squirrels, beavers, cubs, scouts, rainbows, brownies and guides.

Girlguiding activities

Provide a pleasant secure and cheap location for village community groups to meet and conduct their activities. Groups using the hall include beavers, cubs, scouts, guides, rainbows, brownies, senior citizens, whist, luncheon club, mothers and toddlers, exercise class, badminton, craft group, kick boxing, and phisiotherapy.

Our mission is to provide and maintain premises to encourage and facilitate a true community spirit. We operate our village hall, which is used by most of the community groups in the Village. These include a Pre-school, a club for older people, Girl Guides, Brownies, Rainbows, several Keep-Fit groups and Dance classes, Vigo Parish Council and the Anglican Church, as well as various other groups.

To provide the following community recreational, social, cultural and other events:These include Village School Nursery (currently running on 4 days a week), Mother and Toddler Group, Drama Society, Junior and Senior Badminton Club, WI, Rainbows, Brownies, Dog Training, Amateur Radio Club, Tai Chi. These meet on a daily/weekly basis. Also the hall is used for parties and other private events.

Providing facilities for a large range of activities: from Pre-School to Over 50s groups. Including Rainbows and Brownies, Dance Classes Yoga and karate. Music & reading groups. The facilities are also available for hire for children parties and most type of function.

Girlguiding Sussex Central is a seperately constituted division of Girlguiding UK. It follows all the programmes set out by the National charity. For further details please see the annual report.

We Have a large Hall for hire we can provide facilities for conferences, parties weddings etc and Smaller hall for smaller activities.Many local community groups use our hall for their activities, such as Art Groups,Dancing,Drop in coffee morning,Photography Club, Samsen Club for our senior residents to get together,Brownies,and Indoor Bowls Club. We also have a Post Office twice a week.

THE BELMONT COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION IS MADE UP OF DIFFERENT SECTIONS AND ORGANISATIONS THAT USE THE SAME FACILITIES. GROUPS INCLUDE WHIST, BOWLS, KEEP FIT, YOGA, MARTIAL ARTS AND BROWNIES. THE ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE APPEAL TO A WIDE RANGE OF THE COMMUNITY AND NEW GROUPS ARE SUPPORTED. THE ASSOCIATION ORGANISES SOCIAL EVENTS FOR THE COMMUNITY AND SUPPORTS OTHER CHARITIES THROUGH FUNDRAISING EVENTS.

Affiliated groups meet on a regular basis, including guides, brownies, rainbows. There are exercise classes, keep fit, pilates, ki aikido, cycling, also sequence dancing, ballet dancing, slimming classes. Other classes include dog training, over 60's and a Church Group. Rooms are also rented out for socials, parties and meetings.

Maintain and refurbish Grade II building for use by any organisation or individuals in area. Major users, Guides, Brownies, Ramblers, dance, yoga, exercise groups, Women's Institute, portrait painting, physiotherapy, luncheon and social gatherings; also concerts, drama and private parties. Centre for village Community Events including Well Dressing festival, Open Gardens and Christmas Lights.
