It is a parent and teachers association with the aim of raising money to provide extra facilities for the children who attend the school.

The Friends of the Commons augment the work of the Commons Conservators and the Ranger. We do this by members volunteering to work on the Commons. Typical activities include picking up litter, clearing scrub, enhancing public access and helping to promote ecological diversity. We also help to fund associated expenditure, particularly for items not normally covered in the Conservators' budget.

The trust makes grants towards the upkeep, repair, maintenance and improvement of St Nicholas Church, Pyrford, and Wisley Church, both in Surrey.

Fundraising activities such as Jumble Sales, Quiz nights and catalogue sales are run to provide funds to enhance the children's school environment and experience. Projects supported include providing play equipment, maintaining pond and swimming pool, subsidising theatre trips, buying books and computer equipment and providing a Year 6 Leavers' party.

Run events for children, families, and friends of the school and the local community, including summer and winter fairs, quizzes, and discos to raise funds for the provision of equipment and resources for the benefit of all pupils at the school.

We organise fundraising events for the pupils and their families throughout the year, to provide funds for fun educational activities and equipment for the pupils, in addition to the schools curriculum.

To raise funds to advance the educational needs of pupils at St Teresa's School.
