With the rebuild of the hospital, from the original 1930's building to a the new facility, the Friends now provides a small convenience shop for use by the public attending for all outpatient services; also for inpatients and relatives of the four wards, as well as the hospital staff, and respond to requests for medical and other equipment requested.

We are a charity which supports the school by raising additional funding to benefit the children.

The Friends of the Harris exists to support the work of the Harris Museum, Art Gallery & Library through fundraising. In recent years we have funded a range of projects, including purchases, conservation, exhibitions, community-focussed work and a capital development.

We maintain links of friendship and understanding between Christians in Britain and Ireland and in the People's Republic of China, through exchange visits, study tours, conferences, educational materials and activities, a newsletter, and grants to charitable work in China.

Funds for church projects are raised by volunteers providing refreshments in the church hall - usually on Sunday afternoons during the summer. Second hand books and bric/brac are also sold.

The charity holds various events for the parents, children and friends of Breachwood Green School to raise money to purchase things that do not fall with in the remit of the local authority funding.

Our objectives may a) develop more extended relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school; b) engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it; c) assist in the provision of such facilities.
