Scout Group based in Henleaze area of Bristol

The charity provides activities on a weekly basis to children (both boys and girls) from the ages of 6 up to 14 following guidelines set down by the Scout Association. In 2008 the Scout Hut was replaced by a purpose built building with state of the art equipment with help from other charities and beneficiaries.

To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Scout Group comprising of eight sections (Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers & Network) with ages from 4 to 25.Individual sections provide training, activities and skills for life to all members.

To support, develop and promote the Scouting Movement within the Mid Cheshire District.

The provision of Scouting for boys and girls between the age of 6 years and 14 years with an emphasis on water activities for the older members of the Group.

Provision of local scouting activities in line with those of the national Scout Association. Providing sport, leisure and recreation for children and young people centred on Harwell, Oxfordshire.

We run the village playing field for cricket, football, tennis, bowls, scouts & children play group. In addition we now own & run a 6 & a half acre wildlife site next to the playing field - 4 acres meadow 2 acres woodland. This is called the Alderbed Meadow Project.

Education/training activities in respect of scouting

2nd Balsall Common (Methodist) Scout Group operates one Squirrels pack, two Beaver packs, two Cub packs and two Scout packs. Each Group meets weekly in school term-time and activities are organised by leaders which allow the pack members to practice skills which result in badges being awarded. Skills acquired are varied such as swimming, IT, first aid, camping, games.

The objective of the Scout District is to provide support and assistance to the Scout Groups within the District, in order to achieve the purpose of Scouting as laid down by the Scout Association in their P.O.R., Chapter 1 - Fundamentals of Scouting.

To provide scouting activities for boys and girls from the ages of 4 to 18 years old from within the Acomb area. The Group runs an Explorer Unit, 2 Scout Troops, 2 Cub Packs, 2 Beaver Colonies, a Squirrel Drey plus a Scout Activity Centre at Redmire Station House.

The charity runs activities for young people aged 6 and upwards.These activities included weekly group meetings, social activities, skill based activities. training opportunities and overnight camps.

1st Mulbarton Scout group comprising Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers. Meetings for each group each week where variable activities are carried out including crafts, cooking, camping basics, first aid etc.Group camps and individual camps and days out.

Scouting actively engages and supports young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. We provide Scouting to young people in the Edgware, Queensbury and Stanmore areas of Harrow.

The Group is a unit of the Scout Association whose aim is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals and responsible citizens. This is achieved by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and Law and guided by adult leadership.

The Group Continued to provide development opportunities for young people within Putnoe and the surrounding area.
