Scouting is the largest co-educational youth organisation in the World with over 28 million members world-wide.Scouting exists to contribute to the development of young people by helping them grow up to be self-reliant, responsible and caring citizens.It is open to those of all faiths and offers equal opportunities to all young people aged between 6 and 25 years old in the community.

Scouting: Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical,intellectual,social and spiritual potentials,as individuals,as responsible citizens and as members of their local communities.The method of achieving this is by way providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training within the guide lines of the Scout Association.

Our group operates according to the scout policy, organisation and rules (P.O.R.) book.

The charity is a sea scout group that includes beavers and cubs. Activities are typical of any scout group, including swimming, sailing, canoeing, and camping.

Provide Scouting activities for boys and girls from 6 to 14 years of age.All activities are carried out in accordance with Scout Association rules.All Leaders undertake a progressive training programme.

1st Falfield Scout Group is a Community based group and offering over 200 activities, from abseiling and archery to drama, street sports and water zorbing, for boys and girls aged from 6 to 14 years of age.The Scout Group is committed to being inclusive of all young people, regardless of their gender, race, religion or belief, ability or disability and has a clear Equal Opportunities Policy.

A wide range of activities for children including water activities, camping, creative activities, with the opportunity to earn badges for taking part in these activities.

The aim of Scouting is to help young people (age 6 upwards) achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and members of their local, national and international communities. We meet weekly and provide a fun way for children to make new friends and enjoy an exciting programme of activities.

To fulfil the aim of The Scout Association in promoting the development of young people as individuals, responsible citizens and members of their communities by providing training during meetings, camps and adventurous activities. The meetings and camps are run by Volunteers and the activities are funded by direct charges and fund raising activities of the Group Trustee Board.

To contribute to the development of young people aged between 6 & 18 in achieving their full physical, intellectual and social potential as individuals & responsible citizens. We promote a range of indoor & outdoor activities, including camping, hiking & life skills with emphasis on boating for older members. All are encouraged to gain badges for skills developed in the activities promoted.
