To provide scouting, at Beaver, Cub and Scout levels for children living in Oakworth and surrounding area.

SCOUTING

Scout activities including camping, hiking, swimming and weekly meetings doing art & craft, sport, cooking, knots etc. Badge work includes care for animals, first aid, music, hobbies, collecting, local history and religion. Local and London visits to places of interest and worship.

We are open 2 mornings per week to house our local outreach post office service. The youth club have a session every week as do the cubs & scouts. The WI have monthly meetings & we have domino drives & social functions whenever we can. Some parents have their children's parties also.

Scout Group. Includes activities for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts

Scout, cub and beaver groups. As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 2nd March Scout Group give young people of Fenland the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

Scouting in the UK is organised through the Scout Association. Its purpose is to help young people up to 25 years old achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

1st Norley Scouts provides a range of challenging activities enabling young people to develop new skills and abilities. These include traditional Scout pioneering and map and compass skills, water activities, nights/weekends away and creative activities to allow young people to express themselves in different ways. All this is done in a safe, encouraging and supportive environment.

Each week, the 5th Burgess Hill (Worlds End) Scout Group give young people of Burgess Hill the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

Scout Group

The objectives of the Group are to run the most attractive possible programme in accordance with Scout Association rules and objectives.

Scouting Group Activities - Beavers, Cubs and Scouts (ages 6 to 14)

The scout group has a splendid headquarters where all the different sections of the group meet, for various activities.The headquarters is also used by other voluntary organisations from time to time. Who make a small donation to the scout group for this facility.In addition the scouts have various activities away from the headquarters including camping, hiking and other social activities.

TO PROVIDE FUN ACTIVITIES FOR BOYS AND GIRLS

The Teaching of Young people life skills as well as giving opportunities for adventures and new experiences via scout camps.
