PROVIDES SCOUTING TO CHILDREN IN LAMBETH

The aim of the scout association is to promote the physical, moral, intellectual and spiritual development of young people. The method whereby we seek to achieve this aim is by training scheme (the Balanced Training Programme) which is both enjoyable and challenging. All scouting activities are underpinned by the Scout Promise and Law.

Stakeford Scout Group is part of the Scout Association. It helps girls and boys aged 4 - 25 develop #Skills for Life, through a programme of activities, adventure and badge work.

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE GROUP ARE AS A UNIT OF THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION.THE AIM OF THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION IS TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALS AS INDIVIDUALS, AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES

All activities relating to the Scouting Movement, leading groups of Beavers Cubs & Scouts

We are a volunteer run group with 60+ youths aging between 5 3/4 & 18, many of which are from one parent families. Many suffer from physical ailments, learning & behavioural issues.We fundraise so these children can be included in the activities scouting offers - camping, abseiling, residentials etc which helps to build confidence, self esteem & respect for themselves and others.

To promote young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social, spiritual, potentials. The method of achieving this is by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training based on the scout promise with adult leadership.

Camping and other outdoor activities, training and education plus suitable games for young people aged 6 to 14

Education and training young people between ages of 6years to 14 years in accordance with the Scout Association's policy organisation and rules. These activities pursued in the Caerphilly area.

Provision of facilities for the benefit of a scout group

Open to all young people age between 6yrs and 25yrs, we have an active programme to help all young people to develop their full potential, becoming the citizens of tomorrow.
