We are an independent charity run by a small dedicated team of volunteers. We rely on the generosity of supporters, owners and the public to help fund our greyhounds in kennels and provide the care they need while they wait for their forever home. We attend fairs, country shows and fundraising events throughout the year to promote greyhounds as pets.

Our activities include but not limited to the following: 1. Rescue the lost. 2. Establish the saved in the church. 3. Send believers to win souls through evangelism, missions and crusades. 4 Perfect the Body of Christ through the teaching of the word of God. 5. Exalt Jesus Christ in the nations of the world. 6. Claim the promises of God. 7. Transform our communities, cities and nations.

Meetings for educational, social, sporting activities. Community support, outings. Social and fund-raising activities.

Provide facility for recreational use, meeting venue, sport and social activities for the local community of all ages. Including organisations such as WI, Scouts, Girl guides and Parish council.

The charity provides a venue for social and other functions including Pilates, Parish Council & other meetings, dog training, afternoon teas ,Young Farmers ,W.I. It also hosts the annual Daffodil weekend and Spring Fayre. It is also the venue for 2 flower shows .It is very well used but did suffer during Covid but has returned to normal now.

W.I. is based on the ideals of fellowship, truth, tolerance and justice. To improve and develop conditions of rural life and advance the education of women in citizenship in public questions both national and international, in music drama and other cultural subjects plus instruction and training in all branches of agriculture handicrafts home economics health and social welfare.

The WI is the largest womens organisation in the UK, and in our inspiring history we have consistently championed the education and rights of women. Our vision is to offer support and opportunity to every woman who wants it, giving women a voice to make an even bigger impact and continue being a force for change in our world.

We hold monthly meetings with a speaker; subjects covered are varied. We also hold regular exercise classes and coffee meetings for members and arrange various outings to places of interest

We play a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities

Bulkington WI holds at least eleven meetings a year, with educational speakers or activities

We hold monthly meetings where we have speakers on various topics or we have an activity meeting. We have a raffle each month and also a competition linked with the speaker or activity. At least twice a year we have an outing one of which is usually a Christmas meal or similar at an outside venue. Quite often we have a quiz with just small prizes for the winning team.

We offer women of all ages the chance to enjoy and learn new skills - crafts, arts, public speaking, sport and other leisure activities. In addition we provide the opportunity for our members to be fully involved in local community issues.

The charity operates in Constantine, Cornwall. We offer opportunities for local women to enjoy friendship, to learn to widen their horizons, and together with the Federation to influence, local, national and International affairs.

Social and community activities.

It seeks to give to women the opportunity of working through the Women's Institute organisation and of putting into practice those ideals for which it stands.

The trustees job is to look after Longlevens Village Hall so that it is a pleasant clean and tidy place for groups or individuals to hire. We have regular users i.e. WI's, cubs, brownies and dancing classes. Also single hire for sales, quizzes, birthday and anniversary parties and plays. We have an entertainments license, but no alcohol licence. We hold a joint PPL/PRS licence.
