To make it possible for a range of activities to take place for people of all ages and abilities who live in Padworth and the surrounding area. Activities in the hall include :- mother and baby/child groups, Women's Institute, physical fitness, and self-help groups. Outdoor activities consist of a children's play area, a football pitch, dog training facilities, and pitches for leisure caravans

We play a unique role in educating women and enabling them to build new skills, to take part in wide ranging activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.

Seaton Sluice Community Association own and manage the local Community Centre offering a range of leisure activities and educational courses. Community groups and local people are able to hire the premises and activities range from parent and toddler groups and youth clubs to the Women's Institute. Activities are as varied as Yoga, Craft Club, Woodworking,Choirs and the local history society.

To provide facilities to local organisations eg badminton-drama, WI T.WG's horticultural society - groups, AA, senior cits, curious arts.

We are a Womens Institute and own our own property and this provides facilities for the following activities, lunches for the senior citizens of Parbold and the surrounding areas, a meeting place and entertainment for the communities of the area and this helps us raise funds for the maintenance of our hall, a club and disco for the youth of the area, a hall for activities such as yoga, keep fit

We offer pre-school education and learning activities for children of Pre-school age.

Recycling in a Charity Shop, Social arena:,Memory Lane Cafe, Heritage Centre, Computers for Community,WI-FI access , Advisory services, Education and Training(subject to funding): training through Volunteering/Work experience. We provide a venue for groups in Consett, County Durham, and the surrounding district to meet together for various social activities, e.g. clubs, societies and Women's Institute; as well as groups for those with mental health issues, young people with learning difficulties and those with addictions. We hold information events, coffee afternoons, Wellbeing Centre and local government meetings.

The Memorial Hall is used by a wide section of the local community.i.e Pre School,Mums & Toddlers,,Cubs & Scouts for the youth. Golden Circle(Ex WI)Flower Group,Horticultural ,Dancing Dog Training.keep fit classes.

Provision of Village Hall facilities for the benefit of the communities in Fairfield and surrounding areas. Activities include specific groups for the young and the old, the Parish Church, Womens Institute and various local events.

Village Hall run by trustees and a management committee for the use of all of the community for a variety of events. These include keep fit classes, dances, WI meetings, craft classes, band practices, church fundraising, parish children's christmas party, parish council meetings, private parties and fundraising for the upkeep of the village hall.

To provide suitable premises for local people to hire at an affordable rate. To provide activities for local people to enjoy i.e Monthly Tea Dances - Weekly Pre School Activity Sessions - Toddler Group for Pre School Children - 50 + Club for Older Local Residents. We also accomodate local groups i.e. Kung Fu Club - Women's Institute - Computer Classes - Parish Council Meetings - Brass Band etc.

The Trustees organise events which are publicised to the membership for their benefit and to generate funds towards the running of the Federation.

A relaxed and friendly group, meeting several times a month, for outings; lunches; coffee mornings; excellent speakers and with a thriving choir giving concerts in the community. Discussions on local and global topics, along with activities organised by County and National Federations are also well supported. The upkeep of our beautifully equipped Hall is helped by bookings from local groups

We promote and teach the skills-craft of knotting and associated crafts to members of the public (retired groups -WI, youth groups-scouts, guides, army/sea cadets). We hold a library of knot books for reference, for public use. We publish (quarterly) a knotting magazine. We maintain a website including a forum for information exhange including tutorials.

Provide a clean, safe and welcoming facility for the local community to hold events, public meetings and regular activities. Including keep fit, dog training, yoga, playgroups, church activities, cycle club, sugarcraft, italian classes, WI, Local History group, childrens parties, polling station, councillor surgery, Bird Weekend, Paranormal etc.

Running charitable events for the local community in the Welwyn Garden City including holding of prayers meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivities, producing or distributing literature to enlighten the general public on Islam. Islamic education for the young in the local community.

Cylch Meithrin Abergwaun offers billingual, pre-school education.

Activities include monthly meetings and group activites:Art, Calligraphy, Darts, Drama, Gardening, Handicraft, Reading, Table Tennis and Writing.Members raise funds and cater for local activities.The hall is also used by others:Birdwatchers, Ballroom Dancing, Children's Dancing, Pilates, Yoga, Wedding / Birthday Parties and for other functions.

The charity acts as a community centre catering mainly for the elderly and children of African-Caribbean origin or descent with the Borough of Brent and neighbouring boroughs.

The hall is hired out to Pre-school group, Cricket clubs, Probus, Woodmancote Society, Indoor Bowling club, Scouts, Cubs, Guides and Brownies etc., Dog handling, Women's Institute, Bishops Cleeve U3A, parties, village events, and the Parish Council meet monthly.

In line with the WI at national and county level, our monthly meetings for local women feature speakers and activities which entertain, educate and connect. These are supplemented by social outings and smaller groups covering interests such as gardening, crafts, reading, walking and darts. We also run Warm Welcome in Old Catton, on the first and third Tuesday morning of each month.
