A well equipped community hall with entertainment and alchol license. Regular groups include skittles, short mat bowls ,history group, pantomime group, WI, and meeting place for Parish Council and other committees.Regular use also by local primary school.A venue also for family celebrations eg weddings and parties.Exhibitions and workshops are regularly held.

The WI is a non-political, non-sectarian organisation whose aim is to educate women to enable them to provide an effective role in the community, to expand their horizons and to develop and pass on important skills.

The Charities activity has been to promote the community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of the facilities for the playing of football.For 2012/13 we had 15 teams from the age of Under 8 to Under 18. This allowed for over 200 young people to enjoy football in a safe and organised environment.We were able to win our first ever trophy the NEYDL Knockout Cup.

We are a village hall, providing facilities for pre-school, dog shows and seminars, rabbit ,miniature railway , karati , tai chi,,tai kwando classes, various baby sessions,,election-voting,plays and childrens shows , well being and religious events Senior lunches, soup kitchen ,toddler groups,garden club ,WI,weddings,painting,French and dance classes children's parties and village events

The charity has a small community centre wit free wifi access, supports children's and young people's activities, manages allotments, a park and community/social prescribing gardens. WCA is an active partner with the NHS, Council and other organisations. During the covid crisis WCA has led a whole town project to provide weekly food to over 1000 people in Fleetwood and surrounding areas.

Operate and maintain Long Buckby Community Centre, a two storey community owned building, run for the benefit of the local community.Hire of rooms to local groups and societies for example - Darby and Joan, The Alzheimers Society, Gardening, History, WI, Bowls.Also commercial groups - keep fit, Tai Chi. We are seeing people from all walks of life becoming homeless. It?s not just addiction that's a major factor to homelessness but also the current economic climate.We have decided to not to wait till people become homeless but to provide a way for someone to break free of their situation and gain control.We want to provide a place that someone can call home and show them the way to freedom.

For the Parishioners of Shaugh Prior Parish. Provides a recreation Field with 2 Football Pitches with a pavilion for both men's & youth teams using the facilities and cricket can also be played but at present is not being used. Bowling green with associated pavilion and hard tennis courts which are not currently used. A large hall used by local WI, over 60's group, Dancing Club, Panto .

Offers opportunities to all women to learn, widen horizons, influence national and international affairs, enjoy friendship, support their communities.

The WI in East Sussex provides educational workshops and forums on topical issues, cultural subjects, instruction and training across a range of skills. We give opportunities to work together promoting the constitution ideals

To advance the education of women in all areas including local, national and international issues of political and social importance, music, drama, other cultural subjects, all branches of agriculture, crafts, home economics, science, health, social welfare, to promote sustainable development, to advance citizenship for the public benefit by the promotion of civic responsibility and volunteering.

Holding activities for the local community, dances,quizes,the WI, talks, film shows etc and the hall is used a number of evenings for badminton. The hall is also hired for private functions i.e. birthday parties, weddings, cubs etc. We fund raise to keep the hall in good state of repair by doing jumble sales, race nights, dances etc.

Provision of facilities for sporting activities - e.g. badminton courts, indoor bowls, football fields, changing rooms etc. Also facilities for meetings of local groups - e.g. senior citizens, WI, Gwerin-y-coed (children's nature group)

It celebrates the Caribbean men and women who served Britain in WWII and who also settled in the UK from 22 June 1948, having travelled on the ship Empire Windrush, and who helped to rebuild ; (2) promotes good race & community relations, works to eliminate discrimination and encourage equality of opportunity for all; (3) designs and deliver heritage and arts projects, programmes and initiatives.

WE ACT AS A CENTRE FOR VILLAGE ACTIVITIES AND AS SUCH WE CATER FOR A RANGE OF ACTIVITIES INCLUDING BADMINTON, BOWLS, DRAMA, DANCING, WI, ETC.

Our main objective is to hire out our hall for as wide a range of activities as possible. We have bookings from mums, tots, playschool, echo (an organisation for the physically and mentally disabled), table tennis, hardy plants society, womans institute, as well as meetings for regular groups, parties and an auction. It is also used for our own fund raising.

Advancement of Education and other Charitable purposes.

We provide a venue for groups in Consett, County Durham, and the surrounding district to meet together for various social activities, e.g. clubs, societies and Women's Institute; as well as groups for those with mental health issues, young people with learning difficulties and those with addictions. We hold information events, coffee afternoons, Wellbeing Centre and local government meetings.

Activities run for the benefit of the local community. Facilities available to hire for use by community groups, e.g. Pre-school, uniform groups, performing arts groups, WI, Dance groups(children and adult). Rooms available for hire by individuals for parties/charity events etc.

The purpose of the BLF is to provide advice and strategic direction to Bristol City Council and key city stakeholders concerning the legacy of the Transatlantic Trafficking of Enslaved Afrikans (TTEA). The BLF is made up of representatives from the Afrikan Heritage Community and meet monthly. The Partnership Group wis made up of the core BLF members plus key city partners and stakeholders.

The objects of the charity are to further the ideals of fellowship, truth, tolerance and justice embodied in the Women's Institute movement in Berkshire and elsewhere. It is non-sectarian, non-party political and offers all women the opportunity to enjoy friendship, life-long learning, to widen their horizons and, together, influence local, national and international affairs.
