Scouting All activities following the Scout programme

To enable girls and young women to fulfill their potential and take an active role in Society.

Provides meeting place for local Scouts and Guide groups and also available for hire to other local groups and individuals.

Scout Association Activities for both boys and girls, beavers, cubs, scouts, explorers, network and adult

Education of girls between the ages of 5 -7 (Rainbows) 7 - 10 (Brownies) 10-14 (Guides) 14 plus older girls

Scout Group: Children aged from six to twenty five and adult volunteers. Beavers, Cubs and Scouts learning life skills and having fun!!

Training and education in line with the policy organization and rules of the Scout Association.

Activities which follow the aims and objectives of Girlguiding UK.

We have weekly meetings during term time for children between the ages of 6 years and 15 years. We also run 2 or 3 camps per year, and the children also take part in competitions set by the District Scout Group.

Girls and young women are encouraged to develop their individual skills and talents, to fulfil their potential and to take an active and responsible role in society. This is supported by girlguiding's distinctive, stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities.

We provide a balanced programme of activities to enhance and stimulate the mental and physical wellbeing of young people aged 6 years to 14 years of age.

RACE NIGHTS, SPONSORED EVENTS, GARDEN PARTIES, MEMBERS DONATIONS.SUPPORTING NATIONAL AND LOCAL CHARITIESS. GRANTS TO DESERVING LOCAL ORGANISATIONS AND INDIVIDUAL. E.G. GUIDES, SCOUTS, PARTICIPANTS IN DISABLED GAMES.

Provides a range of practically based activities for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts: for example educational, sporting and environmental. Activities are either based in the HQ or are undertaken during trips away either on a daily basis or on field camps.

Enfield Division provides activities for girls only from 5 to 25 and leaders. These girl led activities include craft, games, camps and holidays, badges eg. D of E, competitions, adventurous activities and fund raising. Section wide events include Rainbow days, Brownie Sleepovers, Guide camps, leader training, Heafield competition, Patrons Lunch and Guiding Gala Dinner

SCOUTING

To provide and maintain scout and cub activities and development for the young people of Calverton and the surrounding area

Many Guide units and Brownie Packs have enjoyed their activities with Poole East Division. Camping and outdoor experiences along with more adventurous activities at outdoor education centres. We have been part of the large County camp this year.

To support the Cadets of the Cambridgeshire Army cadet Force and encourage enthusiasm, team work. Promote physical fitness, attract recruits and maintain membership.
